A Multi-Brand Strategy for a Diverse Market

WBC collaborates with globally recognised hospitality brands, each curated to resonate with distinct guest profiles and lifestyle preferences. The most recent openings illustrate this strategic diversity - Six Senses Kyoto and Banyan Tree Higashiyama Kyoto both launched in 2024, while Garrya Nijo Castle Kyoto welcomed guests in 2023. These properties exemplify the group’s ability to cater to wellness seekers, cultural explorers, and design-conscious travellers alike. From regenerative wellness sanctuaries to culturally immersive retreats and minimalist escapes, each brand offers a unique yet consistently high-quality experience rooted in authenticity.

Under the leadership of World Brands Collection Hotels & Resorts Ltd., each project is designed to reflect the rich tapestry of Japanese culture while aligning with the global standards of its partner brands. WBC’s executive team, composed of seasoned professionals in real estate, hospitality, and global partnerships, brings decades of experience in hotel management, asset revitalisation, and brand development.

Each of our partner brands speaks to a different kind of traveller. Garrya appeals to minimalism and quiet reflection, Banyan Tree evokes deep cultural and sensory immersion, and Six Senses leads the way in regenerative wellness. This diversity is our strength, Hiroshi Komoto continues.
