February 2026:
The Indian hotel sector opened CY2026 with a healthy year-on-year growth across ARR, occupancy, and RevPAR, although performance saw a modest sequential correction compared to December 2025.
Bengaluru emerged as the strongest outperformer, registering the highest year-on-year ARR growth of 15-17%, supported by sustained corporate and commercial demand. Pune followed closely, posting robust growth in the range of 11–13% YoY.
Occupancy at the national level reflected a largely stable year-on-year performance. Chandigarh emerged as the strongest performer, recording the highest occupancy growth of 7-9 percentage points YoY. Bengaluru, however, witnessed a year-on-year decline of 3-5 percentage points.
