Safemark, a global leader in guest room solutions for the hospitality industry, is proud to announce a major advancement in its EcoVadis sustainability rating, climbing from the 37th percentile in 2025 to the 68th percentile in 2026 — placing the company in the top 35% of all companies evaluated globally by the platform.
This milestone builds on Safemark's 2025 EcoVadis Committed Badge recognition and signals meaningful, measurable progress across the company's environmental, social, and governance (ESG) practices.
EcoVadis is a leading European-based sustainability ratings platform that evaluates companies across 21 criteria in four core themes: Environment, Labor & Human Rights, Ethics, and Sustainable Procurement. With more than 130,000 companies rated globally, EcoVadis assessments are increasingly required by major hotel groups, including Accor, Hilton, and Radisson. As sustainability requirements become standard in hotel brand procurement, this recognition is especially relevant within the hospitality supply chain.
This score improvement is a direct reflection of our team’s dedication and the concrete steps we’ve taken to integrate sustainability into every aspect of our operations. This year, we strengthened our sustainability reporting and supplier oversight, reinforcing our Public commitment to transparency and accountability. We are proud of how far we have come and remain committed to driving continuous improvement as we work toward a net-zero carbon future
John Foley, Vice President and GM at Safemark
Special recognition goes to Pamela Vargas, Business Development Manager, and Allan Zhu, Safemark Manager, China, whose focused effort in navigating EcoVadis's rigorous and detailed submission process was instrumental in achieving this result.
Looking ahead, Safemark will continue to prioritize energy efficiency, waste reduction, and ethical sourcing — using the insights gained through the EcoVadis process to further refine its sustainability strategy and performance.
