Hospitality Financial and Technology Professionals (HFTP®) has announced a partnership with The Hospitality Law Conference to deliver dedicated educational programming at the conference's Washington, D.C. event on October 28–29, 2026. The program is co-hosted by Choice Hotels® and will bring together developers, attorneys and financial executives for an immersive discussion focused on financial issues and regulatory trends shaping the hospitality industry today.

The overall conference programming is designed to address current challenges across investment, transactions, risk and financial strategy — areas that intersect the daily work of legal, development and finance teams operating in hospitality. HFTP will lead a half-day roundtable within the educational program, leveraging its expertise in hospitality finance and technology to deliver insights tailored to professionals navigating today's complex, fast-changing market.

“Success in today’s hospitality environment requires closer collaboration across operational functions,” said HFTP CEO Frank Wolfe, CAE. “We are proud to contribute to this program by facilitating meaningful dialogue and sharing insights that help industry professionals address challenges and identify new opportunities for growth.”

The Hospitality Law Conference is a recognized gathering point for hospitality professionals with legal and business responsibilities. Its Washington, D.C. installment provides a fitting backdrop for conversations about finance-related policy developments, deal structures and industry compliance — topics which particularly carry weight in the current economic climate.

The partnership reflects a shared commitment to cross-functional education. Lawyers advising on hotel transactions, developers evaluating investment opportunities and financial executives managing asset performance all benefit from sitting in the same room and engaging with the same body of knowledge. HFTP's involvement ensures the content is grounded in the practical realities of hospitality finance, not just theory.

"The hospitality industry's most significant challenges and opportunities rarely fit neatly into a single discipline," said Stephen Barth, founder of HospitalityLawyer.com® and The Hospitality Law Conference. "Whether you're evaluating investments, structuring transactions, managing risk, or responding to an evolving regulatory landscape, success depends on collaboration among legal, financial, and operational leaders. We are delighted to partner with HFTP to deliver programming that brings these perspectives together and equips attendees with practical insights they can apply immediately within their organizations."

Full programming details, including the session schedule and registration information, will be announced in the coming months. Hospitality professionals interested in attending are encouraged to monitor both organizations' official channels for updates.
