HSMAI DC Workshop Will Introduce the Fundamentals of Modern Hotel Marketing and Commercial Strategy
HSMAI's Washington D.C. chapter hosts a $55–$75 half-day workshop on Sept. 10 covering hotel marketing fundamentals, demand generation, and commercial strategy using the CHDM credential as a framework.
WASHINGTON – Building Smarter Hotel Demand, an interactive, in-person workshop designed to introduce the fundamentals of modern hotel marketing and commercial strategy, will be held Sept. 10 from 2 to 6 p.m. at the Hyatt Place Washington DC/National Mall hosted by the Washington, D.C., chapter of the Hospitality Sales and Marketing Association International.
Designed for hotel professionals who work in sales, marketing, revenue and leadership roles, Building Smarter Hotel Demand will focus on how marketing, demand generation and commercial thinking work together in today's hospitality environment, using HSMAI’s Certified Hospitality Digital Marketer credential as a framework.
The presenters will be Jennifer Hill, Kalibri senior vice president, commercial strategy, and Dan Rice, Expedia Group DC-Baltimore-Philadelphia area manager. Both hold the CHDM designation.
Participants will explore core marketing concepts, evaluate real-world hotel examples and apply practical ideas they can take back to their properties immediately. While Building Smarter Hotel Demand is not a CHDM exam prep or certification course, it is designed to help attendees accelerate their path into CHDM concepts and thinking.
Jeremy Huvard, Donohoe Hospitality Services vice president of sales and marketing and HSMAI DC chapter president
