Erastus Radjimin, Founder & CEO of Artotel Group, has expressed his support for the development of four sports complex assets in West Java into the new sport tourism and wellness destinations. He shared this perspective as a speaker at the Business Infrastructure Forum (BIF) on Friday, September 11, 2026, at Hall Cendrawasih, Jakarta International Convention Center (JICC).

The Business Infrastructure Forum (BIF) was part of Indonesia Sports Summit (ISS) 2026, organized by the Ministry of Youth and Sports of the Republic of Indonesia. The forum brought together government representatives, investors, industry players, infrastructure operators, and other stakeholders to explore investment opportunities, development, management, and the utilization of sports infrastructure in supporting the growth of Indonesia’s national sports industry.

During this year’s BIF, Dedi Mulyadi, Governor of West Java, and Muhammad Farhan, Mayor of Bandung, presented the development potential of four sports complex assets in West Java, each with its own characteristics and opportunities: Kawasan Sport Jabar Arcamanik, Lahan Tanjungsari, Sarana Olahraga Lodaya, and Sarana Olahraga Padjadjaran.

The development of these assets requires strong collaboration between the government and private sector to maximize their potential and create destinations with high utilization and year-round activities. By integrating the concept of sport tourism and wellness, these sports complexes have the potential to become new destinations that also provide meaningful benefits to the community.

We believe that sport tourism and wellness will shape the future of hospitality. Therefore, we fully support the development of these four sports complex assets in West Java into sport tourism and wellness destinations that can create value and generate activities throughout the year. Sport destinations should be integrated with other sectors, including hospitality, retail, F&B, wellness, entertainment, and communities. This integration can create more consistent utilization of sports infrastructure while opening up new revenue opportunities
