Stonebridge Adds Dual-Branded Property in Heart of Atlanta Midtown’s Arts & Entertainment District to Managed Portfolio
Stonebridge takes over management of the 282-room Courtyard and Element by Marriott Atlanta Midtown, with plans to grow F&B revenue and leverage 11,000 sq ft of event space.
Stonebridge, the privately owned, nationally recognized hotel management company, announced today it has added the dual-branded Courtyard by Marriott and Element by Marriott Atlanta Midtown to its managed portfolio of hotels and resorts.
Built in 2021, the 282-room property is situated directly in the heart of the lively cultural scene of Midtown Atlanta, known for its wide variety of dining, nightlife, arts and experiences. Notably, the hotel sits across the street from the Fox Theatre, a National Historic Landmark and one of Atlanta’s premier destinations for live entertainment, providing an ideal destination for theatergoers, concert attendees, and travelers and locals alike to fully immerse themselves in the Midtown cultural scene.
This dual-branded property represents a strong addition to our portfolio and further expands our presence in one of the country's most dynamic urban markets. I am honored that an existing partner has chosen to expand our relationship and entrust us with another one of their hotels. I am confident we can build upon our proven track record of delivering positive revenue results and elevated guest experiences with this exciting new addition
Rob Smith, CEO, Stonebridge
One key opportunity that the company has identified is expanding and elevating the property’s dining experience, leveraging the expertise and extensive experience of the Stonebridge Food & Beverage division.
Stonebridge plans to maximize the property’s signature dining experience, The Ponce Room Bar & Kitchen, highlighting its desirable indoor and patio seating, Southern-inspired menu, signature hospitality, craft cocktail selection, and prime location for pre- and post-theater dining to truly cement it as the go-to social gathering spot in the heart of the neighborhood’s cultural scene.
Additionally, hotel guests will enjoy enhancements at the property’s breakfast locations, with expanded menu options planned for the Elements RISE breakfast experience, complementing the on-site Starbucks and Courtyard Bistro locations.
Stonebridge will maximize these key features and others, including the property’s fitness center and more than 11,000 square feet of flexible meeting and event space, to drive revenue, strengthen the property’s competitive position within the Atlanta market, and create measurable returns via targeted marketing, sales & revenue management strategies developed by the company’s fully in-house, integrated commercial team.
The addition further expands Stonebridge's presence in key gateway and urban markets, complementing a balanced portfolio of luxury, resort, full-service, and premium select-service hotels across more than 25 states, Washington DC and the Caribbean. The company continues to pursue opportunities where operational expertise, commercial discipline, and guest-centric management creates strong, sustainable value for ownership.
