Emerging Travel Group (ETG), a global travel technology company operating RateHawk, ZenHotels and Roundtrip, is expanding its Marketing Hub through a new collaboration with Rippla, a data-driven platform connecting hospitality businesses with influencers and content creators. The partnership gives travel and hospitality brands access to influencer marketing as an additional channel, complementing ETG’s existing marketing solutions.
Rippla gives hospitality businesses access to a network of 10,000+ influencers across Europe and the Middle East, and provides audience insights, including followers’ age, location and gender. This allows hospitality businesses to choose creators whose audiences closely match their target customers.
Felix Shpilman, CEO of Emerging Travel Group, commented: “Social media and influencers are increasingly shaping how travellers discover, consider, book and experience travel. This is one of the key trends we identified in our recent report on the 10 trends that will shape travel over the next decade. As creator marketing becomes an important part of the booking journey, our partnership with Rippla allows ETG to expand the marketing opportunities we offer to our partners, helping them reach travellers through relevant voices alongside our existing solutions.”
Through Rippla, hospitality businesses can define their target audience based on criteria such as location, age and gender, and create tailored offers for selected creators. Rippla’s algorithm then identifies influencers whose audiences best match the target profile, allowing partners to select the profiles they want to collaborate with. Collaborations are based on a barter model, with hotels offering stays or other hospitality experiences in exchange for creator content and promotion. Rippla also provides tools to manage collaborations and track their performance. Access to the platform is provided on a subscription basis.
Maria Donskikh, CEO and founder of Rippla, commented: “We built Rippla because we saw an opportunity to make influencer marketing more relevant, effective and accessible for hospitality businesses. We can already see the value it brings to our clients — through barter-based collaborations, they turn available rooms and restaurant tables into marketing assets that help them reach new guests.
Our partnership with Emerging Travel Group opens an exciting new chapter for Rippla. By combining our technology and influencer marketing expertise with ETG’s deep understanding of the travel industry and its global network, we can continue developing the product and bring it to a much broader community of travel professionals and brands.”
Rippla’s influencer network is now available through ETG’s Marketing Hub, the Group’s advertising unit designed to help travel businesses increase visibility, reach relevant audiences and support business growth. With millions of guests using its platforms each month and a network of more than 120,000 travel professionals, ETG gives partners access to diverse audiences across leisure, business and travel trade segments.
