Shanghai – Vignette Collection, IHG Hotels & Resorts’ first luxury collection brand, continues to grow across Greater China, welcoming new hotels in Chengdu, Chongqing, Shanghai, Beidaihe, Qiandao Lake and Sanya this year, alongside the recent addition of The Hari Hong Kong, Vignette Collection. From vibrant cities to coastal retreats, the brand brings together one-of-a-kind luxury hotels, offering travellers more ways to explore destinations and create lasting memories.

Luxury travellers today are increasingly looking for personalised experiences that reflect their interests and leave a lasting impression. We believe every hotel has its own character, and every destination has a story worth discovering. Vignette Collection celebrates the individuality of its hotels and their connections to local culture, lifestyles and communities, offering guests experiences that go beyond the stay. As the collection grows, we hope to inspire more guests to explore and collect stories of their own.

More Distinctive Stays, More Stories to Collect

Built around three brand hallmarks – One-of-a-Kind Stays, Memorable Rituals and A Means for Good – Vignette Collection brings together hotels that celebrate individuality, create special moments and contribute positively to the places they call home.

Through One-of-a-Kind Stays, each hotel retains its own identity, style and story, offering guests a fresh perspective on the local culture and character.

  • TFT Chongqing, Vignette Collection draws inspiration from Chongqing’s identity as the “Bridge City” and its setting overlooking the confluence of two rivers. Bridge-inspired details feature throughout the hotel, from its interiors and room keys to themed afternoon tea and story cards, bringing Chongqing’s landscape and heritage to life.

  • THE ONE Shanghai Downtown, Vignette Collection reflects Shanghai’s Art Deco heritage through its architecture and interiors. A collaboration with a local art centre invites guests to explore the city's creative scene beyond the hotel.

With Memorable Rituals, each hotel offers signature moments inspired by its own character and surroundings, adding a personal touch to every stay.

  • Shanghai Snow World Hotel, Vignette Collection, located within the Shanghai L+SNOW Indoor Skiing Theme Resort, extends the spirit of a winter getaway beyond the slopes. The ringing of a bell marks the start of an après-ski gathering, where guests unwind with specially crafted drinks beside the glow of an electric fireplace. The hotel also offers introductory sessions to help first-time skiers learn more about the sport.

  • Resea Hotel Beidaihe, Vignette Collection embraces its coastal setting and changing seasonal scenery. Its signature sunrise ritual invites guests to greet the first light over the sea, turning a quiet moment into a memorable part of their stay.

  • Palm Springs Hotel Chengdu, Vignette Collection celebrates Chengdu’s cultural heritage through experiences inspired by Shu embroidery and fragrance-making. Hands-on activities invite guests to discover local traditions and the city's contemporary lifestyle.

Through A Means for Good, Vignette Collection hotels support local communities and environmental initiatives, creating a positive impact beyond the guest experience.

  • The Hari Hong Kong, Vignette Collection, located in the heart of Wan Chai, brings together art, culture and contemporary luxury. Through The Hari Art Prize, the hotel provides a platform for emerging Hong Kong-based artists, helping nurture local talent and support the city's creative community.

  • WM Hotel Hong Kong, Vignette Collection, a waterfront retreat in Sai Kung, draws on the area’s maritime heritage and natural surroundings. In partnership with a local non-profit international school, the hotel has organised a beach clean-up at Sha Ha Beach, raising awareness of marine conservation and encouraging community participation.

  • The Azure Ningbo, Vignette Collection turns coffee grounds and food waste into compost to nourish plants and hotel gardens, integrating sustainable practices into its daily operations.

As Vignette Collection continues to grow across Greater China, each new addition brings its own story to the portfolio, offering guests more destinations to discover and experiences worth collecting.
