GCSTIMES Brings Space Identity and Hotel Credential Innovation to EquipHotel Paris 2026

PARIS, FRANCE – 2 November 2026 – As the hospitality industry continues to embrace digital modernization, GCSTIMES is presenting its Open Lock Modernization (OLM) concept at EquipHotel Paris 2026, highlighting a more flexible approach to evolving hotel access systems without necessarily replacing physical infrastructure that remains fit for purpose.

Traditionally, hotels looking to modernize their locking systems have faced two main options: Upgrading with the original manufacturer or replacing the locks entirely. OLM introduces a third path, preserving serviceable physical assets while modernizing the digital layer around them.

By connecting the mechanical, electronic, credential, and system layers, OLM also decouples the lifecycle of physical assets from that of digital technology.

A key part of this approach is Space Identity that access credentials do more than grant entry. They also represent the identity of the spaces people are entitled to access.

At the exhibition, GCSTIMES is highlighting its range of hotel key cards, exploring how materials, textures, and design can bring a hotel's identity into the guest access experience. From wood and leather to PLA and other material options, key cards can serve as both functional credentials and an extension of a hotel's brand expression.

Visitors are invited to discover how physical credentials fit into the wider OLM concept and explore the possibilities for more flexible, connected hotel access.
