Domes Resorts announces three new hotel openings for 2027 after becoming the major shareholder in Casa Collective
Domes Resorts will open three Greek properties under the Casa Cook and Cook's Club brands in 2027, following its April 2026 acquisition of Casa Collective.
Following its acquisition of Casa Collective in April 2026, Domes Resorts has announced three new hotel openings in Greece for 2027. The expansion will see Casa Cook debut in Halkidiki and Santorini, alongside a new Cook’s Club property in Kassandra, marking the next phase of development for the lifestyle hospitality brands.
Casa Cook Athos will open in northern Greece in summer 2027, reviving a 1959 modernist landmark overlooking a sheltered bay on the lesser-known peninsula near the gateway to Mount Athos. Originally designed by one of Greece’s leading architects, Periklis Sakellarios, and now reimagined by Berlin-based studio Vision Alphabet, the 60-key hotel’s architectural character has been preserved through a sensitive restoration with Casa Cook’s distinctive, understated design, and will open a further 45 rooms its second stage.
The hotel will welcome guests aged 12 and over with rooms, suites and a villa, two restaurants with local dishes and wines that reflect paréa (the Greek spirit of togetherness), direct beach access, and a spa with Yoga, breathwork, meditation and sound rituals amongst its wellness programming.
The region’s spiritual heritage plays a key role: Mount Olympus, the legendary home of the ancient gods, to the west; Mount Athos with its monastic community history to the east: and in between, Halkidiki with its wooded hills, sheltered bays, fishing villages and clear Aegean waters. Casa Cook Athos itself sits near Ouranoupoli - “City of Heaven”- overlooking a sheltered bay facing Ammouliani and the Drenia islands, and serves as a starting point to explore the destination.
The launch of Cook’s Club Kassandra marks the next evolution of the brand, introducing its first property on the Greek mainland alongside a new creative direction. Scheduled to open in summer 2027 among the pine-covered hills of Kriopigi on Halkidiki’s western peninsula, this adults-only property resembles a relaxed, private summer house. It centres around the main pool and pool bar area where relaxed, music-filled afternoons transition into livelier evenings. The Boathouse, an open kitchen and restaurant, offers locally sourced dishes, the spa and outdoor gym are accompanied by yoga platform, and the landscaped gardens provide social areas for extended relaxation.
Art plays a heightened role with contemporary pieces and large murals displayed throughout the hotel, and a collaboration with Brazilian artist Luciano Cian marks the beginning of a wider series of creative partnerships, from original works and live murals to occasional artist residencies.
Casa Cook Santorini will be the third property to open next year, launching in early Q2 2027 in the village of Firostefani with just six traditional cave-style residences, designed to offer a different way to experience the island. Rooted in the island’s traditional whitewashed cave houses with striking Caldera views, the adults-only boutique hotel brings the brand’s design philosophy to a more personal scale, through Concierge’s tailored experiences, the privacy of one’s own residence, and the flexibility to discover the island at one’s own pace for an intimate escape.
The acquisition of Casa Collective represents an important step in our growth strategy, allowing us to expand our lifestyle ecosystem while building on the distinct identities of Casa Cook and Cook’s Club. These three openings in hotels we own showcase how much we believe in the soul and the character of these brands.
