Embergrove Hospitality Group to Manage Historic Hotel Pattee in Perry, Iowa
The Iowa-based hospitality company also manages the Historic Park Inn Hotel in Mason City and Honey Creek Resort on Rathbun Lake.

PERRY, Iowa, November 6, 2026 — Embergrove Hospitality Group will assume management of Hotel Pattee on December 1, 2026, in partnership with the City of Perry.
Based in Mason City, Iowa, Embergrove Hospitality Group grew out of Stoney Creek Hospitality and manages a portfolio of hotels, resorts and conference centers. The company brings together hotel operations, sales, marketing, revenue management and food and beverage expertise to support its properties. Its Iowa portfolio includes the Historic Park Inn Hotel in Mason City, the last remaining hotel designed by Frank Lloyd Wright, and Honey Creek Resort on Rathbun Lake.
Opened in 1913, Hotel Pattee is a downtown Perry landmark with 40 individually themed guest rooms and suites. The rooms tell stories about Iowa’s people, industries and cultural traditions through their artwork and furnishings. The hotel also features a restaurant and lounge, a library, a bowling alley and spaces for weddings, meetings and community gatherings.
