Ketan Shetty has been appointed as Director of Catering at The Ritz-Carlton, Bangalore
The Ritz-Carlton, Bangalore is pleased to announce the appointment of Ketan Shetty as Director of Catering Sales. With over a decade of experience in catering sales, MICE, and commercial strategy, Ketan brings a strong foundation in hospitality leadership to this role.
In his new position, Ketan will lead the hotel's catering, group and MICE business, working closely with the sales, culinary, and events teams. He will focus on strengthening the hotel's catering portfolio while delivering thoughtfully curated experiences for guests and clients.
Prior to joining The Ritz-Carlton, Bangalore, Ketan led the reactive sales function at JW Marriott Mumbai Sahar, managing key business segments including MICE and medical conferences. He has also held roles at JW Marriott Hotel Bengaluru, The Leela Palace Bengaluru, Sofitel Mumbai BKC, and Courtyard by Marriott Mumbai International Airport, where he built expertise across business development, key account management, event strategy, and revenue planning.
