Goeun Lee has been appointed as Resort Manager at Four Seasons Resort Bali At Jimbaran Bay
Goeun Lee’s appointment as Resort Manager at Four Seasons Resort Bali at Jimbaran Bay marks a double homecoming. Starting September 1, 2026, she returns to Four Seasons and to Indonesia, a country she has known and loved since her school days.
Goeun previously spent almost a decade at Four Seasons Hotel Seoul, progressing from Learning Manager to Director of Rooms to Director of People & Culture. During her tenure, she helped secure the hotel’s first Forbes Travel Guide Five-Star rating, retained for six consecutive years. She also guided teams through the pandemic, raised engagement to a ten-year high and helped halve staff turnover.
Most recently, as General Manager of Haevichi Hotel & Resort Jeju, Korea, Goeun added island resort leadership to her 25-year international career.
It is, however, Goeun’s instinct for people that colleagues value most. Known for nurturing talent and building strong teams, she leads with warmth, empathy and genuine care. It is an approach that resonates naturally in Bali, where community is central to both island life and hospitality.
For Goeun, the move also brings her back to a country very close to her heart. She attended Surabaya Intercultural School before completing her Bachelor's in Hotel, Restaurant, and Travel Administration in the USA, and has long considered Indonesia her second home.
As Resort Manager, Goeun will work closely with Didier and the Jimbaran Bay leadership team across resort operations, guest experience and talent development. Away from work, family remains central to Goeun, and she looks forward to welcoming daughters Leah and Yuna to Bali later this year.
