Anand Kumar has been appointed as Spa Manager at Marriott Hotel Al Jaddaf, Dubai

Dr Anand Kumar has joined Marriott Hotel Al Jaddaf, Dubai, as the spa manager for the property’s Saray Spa and Health Club. According to a statement by the hotel, Kumar is a medical graduate in “naturopathy and yogic sciences” and has extensive experience of treatments such as yoga therapies, meditation, acupuncture, acupressure, reflexology, hydrotherapy, magneto-chromo and electrotherapy. He has over 13 years of spa and hospitality industry experience, and has worked at number of resorts and properties across India. Kumar joins the Dubai property directly from JW Marriott Aerocity New Delhi, where he was director of spa. Kumar has also worked as spa manager for the Goa Marriott Resort and Park Hyatt Hyderabad, and he was part of the pre-opening team for the Vana Retreat in Dehradun and Poovar Island Resort in Kerala.
