French Industry Performances (September 2010) | Deloitte Reports

It was all systems go in the Paris region, with the capital’s hotels recording exceptional increases in activity – almost reaching maximum levels. With doubledigit growth in RevPAR, hotels in the rest of Ile-de-France also saw an improvement in business. Although growth in regional hotels was not quite as impressive, the trend was no less bullish here, although there were a number of exceptions.

Hotels on the Côte d’Azur recorded good performances. However, this was not the case for all segments or zones in the upscale segment. Monaco and the standard 4 star Cannes market, for instance, did not experience the same level of recovery as their national and local counterparts.
