After a carefully orchestrated four-month refurbishment program, DoubleTree by Hilton Alice Springs has unveiled a stunning transformation of its guest rooms and suites, welcoming guests to contemporary, comfortable accommodations.
DoubleTree by Hilton Alice Springs, part of the fast-growing DoubleTree by Hilton global portfolio of upscale, full-service hotels, has begun a renovation of its guest rooms and suites. The transformation commenced in November 2019, with expected completion in April 2020.
Stewart Manson has been appointed as General Manager – Hotel, F&B and Convention Centre at the Crowne Plaza Alice Springs Lasseters in October. Stewart joined IHG in 2011, and moves to Australia after 4 years in Papua New Guinea, most recently as the Hotel Manager of Crowne Plaza Port Moresby.
Chris Naylor has been appointed General Manager, Ibis Styles Alice Springs Oasis. Chris commenced with AccorHotels in May 2003 and worked as Assistant Manager for Hotel Ibis Sydney Airport Hotel and Mercure Gold Coast Resort before leaving the company in October 2006. In July 2016 Chris returned to AccorHotels as Hotel Operations Manager at Mercure Kakadu Crocodile Hotel. Prior to this he was Hotel Manager for Oaks Charlotte Towers Brisbane CBD.
Liz Hunter has been appointed General Manager, Ibis Styles Alice Springs Oasis. Liz joined AccorHotels in October 2010 and held both the Assistant Manager and Front Office Manager positions at the Mercure and Ibis Brisbane. Liz then relocated to Ibis Alice Springs as Assistant Hotel Manager in November 2013.
