Kevin Delonay has been promoted to Executive Chef at Beaver Creek’s Westin Riverfront

Chef Delonay will oversee all cuisine for Maya, The Westin Riverfront’s modern Mexican kitchen created by Chef Richard Sandoval, the Lift, the Lobby Bar and Starbucks. In addition, he will oversee all food offerings for the resort’s more than 7,500 square feet of banquet and meeting space, including the 4,000 square foot Riverside Ballroom, which features floor-to-ceiling windows offering stunning Beaver Creek Mountain views, and 2,000 square foot outdoor banquet terrace. A graduate of Virginia’s James Madison University, Chef Delonay has been a member of The Westin Riverfront team for more than five years, most recently serving as Executive Sous Chef. Since moving to the Vail Valley in 2006, he has cooked at several top restaurants, including Sweet Basil, Dish and the Game Creek Club.

Jayden Callahan has been named Director of Food & Beverage at The Westin Riverfront Beaver Creek

The Westin Riverfront Resort & Spa at Beaver Creek Mountain is pleased to announce that it has hired Jayden Callahan to serve at the Director of Food & Beverage at the award-winning resort. Callahan will oversee all operations at Maya, The Westin Riverfront’s popular modern Mexican kitchen and tequileria by Chef Richard Sandoval, the Lift, which serves breakfast and lunch daily, the Lobby Bar and a new full-service Starbucks opening this August. In addition, she will oversee all food and beverage offerings in the resort’s more than 7,500 square feet of banquet and meeting space, including the 4,000 square foot Riverside Ballroom with floor-to-ceiling windows offering stunning Beaver Creek Mountain views, and 2,000 square foot outdoor banquet terrace. Callahan joins The Westin Riverfront from Hawaii’s Sheraton Kauai Resort, where she served as the Director of Food & Beverage for more than two years. Other previous experience includes serving as the Food & Beverage Venues Manager at The Westin Princeville Ocean Resort and as the General Manager of several restaurants in Hawaii and Colorado.

Beth Olson has been promoted to Director of Catering & Events at The Westin Riverfront Resort & Spa at Beaver Creek Mountain

The Westin Riverfront Resort & Spa at Beaver Creek Mountain is pleased to announce that it has promoted Beth Olson to the position of Director of Catering & Events. The award-winning resort has also hired Jing Butler to serve as the Executive Meetings Manager and Jessica Gillespie to serve as the Catering & Events Manager. Olson joined The Westin Riverfront’s sales team more than a year ago as the Catering & Conference Service Manager. She previously served as the Banquet Captain at the Arrabelle at Vail Square in Vail and as an Account Manager for Vail Resorts, Inc.

Timothy H. Wolfe has been appointed as General Manager at The Westin Riverfront Resort & Spa at Beaver Creek Mountain

Wolfe has been a member of the Colorado Tourism Office Board of Directors since 2009 and will begin serving as CTO’s Chairman of the Board next month. He served as Chairman of the Colorado Hotel & Lodging Association for 2011, which named him “Hotelier of the Year.” He has been an Adjunct Professor at Metro State College of Denver in the Hospitality, Tourism & Events department since 2008 and is also the co-founder of Journey to Me, a non-profit organization that provides post-adoption education resources and support.
