After her first Hotel Manager position at the Radisson Blu Hotel, Neubrandenburg in her home country Germany, Nadine decided to follow her dream to work abroad. Since then she fell in love with Eastern European cities. In Eastern Europe she has held the General Manager Position at the Radisson Blu Hotel, Batumi in Georgia and the Radisson Blu Hotel, Kyiv Podil in Ukraine. After a very successful time in Ukraine and after having been awarded as "Managed Hotel of the Year" for the Area EERU & TR in February 2019, Nadine was ambitious and ready to take on a new challenge as the General Manager of the Park Inn by Radisson Baku Hotel in Azerbaijan. For over 13 years, Nadine has been putting her heart and soul in our company as she strongly believes in the culture and values of Radisson Hotel Group and the effort and passion Radisson Hotel Group shows in growing talents within the company.
Gergely Bálint, of Horwath HTL Hungary has written the latest market report on Baku, the capital city of Azerbaijan. Baku has more than its nine ‘climate zones’ and oil industry to boast about at the moment. Hotel development is booming as the market begins to appreciate the economic upside offered by tourism. Diversification of hotel products to attract more leisure travellers to the country, extends the booking period and minimises the reliance on corporate travel.

Daniel Kempf has over 10 years of experience in the luxury hospitality industry, having worked with Kempinski as part of pre-opening teams as well as operating hotels in Germany, Eastern Europe and Asia in various managerial functions, most recently as Director of Sales and Marketing in Sofia. A German national, Daniel studied at the Steigenberger Lausanne, and is fluent in English and German. He is joining the preopening team for Jumeirah Bilgah Beach Hotel in Baku – the first international luxury city resort in Azerbaijan and Jumeirah’s entry in the CIS, opening in spring 2012.
