Kevin Wallace has been promoted to Managing Director, Asia Pacific at Dream Hotel Group Asia

Kevin Wallace has been appointed the managing director of Dream Hotel Group Asia to lead the company's growth in Asia-Pacific. In his new role, Wallace will build on the addition of Dream Phuket launched since early last year along with six further properties in Vietnam and two in the Maldives, plus another 40 hotels set to open in the region over the next four years. With over 30 years of senior leadership experience in the global hotel and cruise industries, Wallace's previous roles included positions such as managing director of Plateno Group for South-east Asia and Australasia, president of the Hospitality and Leisure Group of Lippo Karawaci and Aryaduta Hotels, president of Centara International Management, president and COO of Grand Circle Cruise Lines, and president and CFO of Mirage Resorts and Hotels.

Christian Oliver Zunk has been appointed as General Manager at The Akyra Thonglor Bangkok

Akaryn Hotel Group has appointed Christian Oliver Zunk as general manager to oversee akyra Thonglor Bangkok, which soft-launched in December 2016. Zunk joins akyra from Anantara Golden Triangle Elephant Camp and Resort in Chiang Rai, where he worked for nearly five years. Prior to that, he helmed an upscale boutique resort in Abu Dhabi. The hotel business school graduate and state-certified hotel manager has worked with Forte, Sofitel and Kempinski hotels across his native Germany, as well as stints with Four Seasons in New York and Hawaii. Zunk is a seasoned hotelier with 22 years of experience. This is his third senior management posting.

Her position prior to joining Chatrium Residence Sathon Bangkok was that of Corporate Associate Director of Sales for Bangkok-based parent company Chatrium Hotels & Residences.

Mr. Magne Hansen, General Manager of Chatrium Residence Sathon Bangkok, has appointed Mr. Kriengsak Hansa as Executive Assistant Manager-Rooms of Chatrium Residence Sathon Bangkok effective as of July 25th, 2016. Mr. Kriengsak has almost 22 years of experience in the hotel industry. He started his professional hospitality career as a Training Officer with Grand Hyatt Erawan Bangkok Hotel in January 1994, following graduation from Victoria University in Australia with a Master Degree in Business in International Trade.Subsequently, he held various positions in Sales and front of house operations, ultimately progressing in increasingly more responsible leadership/managerial positions with Paradee Resort & Spa Koh Samed, before moving on to The Lapa Hotel Hua Hin, and assumed the position at Pavillion Samui Boutique Resort later. Prior to joining Chatrium Residence Sathon Bangkok, he worked with AKA Resort Hua Hin and most recently at Muthi Maya Forest Pool Villa Khao Yai.
