Diego Angarita has been appointed as General Manager at Four Seasons Resort and Residences Anguilla

Four Seasons Resort and Residences Anguilla, the award-winning oceanfront property consistently ranked by travelers and industry experts as one of the Caribbean's finest, has named Diego Angarita as General Manager. The post will be a homecoming for Angarita, who served as the property's Resort Manager from 2016-2017.Angarita's career with Four Seasons started in Punta Mita in 2001 and has included posts at some of the brand's iconic resort destinations from The Bahamas to Hawaii. Most recently, he served as Hotel Manager of Four Seasons Hotel Los Angeles at Beverly Hills. During his tenure at the property, the hotel received the coveted Forbes Five-Star award and reached the number one spot on TripAdvisor for the Los Angeles region.Diego's promotion to GM coincided with the reopening of the Resort and the introduction of the new Four Seasons global health and safety initiative, Lead With Care. "It is my number one priority to focus on the guest experience and support my team during these challenging times. Our approach to health and safety in response to the current health crisis is about doing what we do best - continuing to demonstrate personalized and genuine care while strengthening our already stringent and industry leading health and safety procedures, enhancing tools and training and embracing technological innovation," says Angarita. Speaking about his return to Anguilla, Angarita mentioned that he is eager to help guests unlock the island's true essence through curated, in-the-know experiences that showcase the country's rich culture.A native of Puerto Vallarta, Mexico, Diego is fluent in English and Spanish and holds a degree in Hotel Administration from the University of Las Vegas, Nevada. An avid athlete who has just completed his first marathon, in his free time Diego can be found partaking in outdoor experiences with his wife, Alicia, and dog, Ulu. He is looking forward to a new chapter on the island he holds close to his heart.

Jon Gersonde has been appointed as General Manager at Viceroy Anguilla

Viceroy Anguilla, the premier destination resort on the island of Anguilla, has appointed Jon Gersonde as general manager of the 166-room resort. An industry veteran with more than 25 years of experience, Gersonde will manage resort operations, oversee strategic initiatives and develop new programming.Gersonde joins Viceroy Anguilla from Turnberry Isle Resort in Florida where he served as the managing director. Prior to his position in the southeast, Gersonde spent time in Hawaii as general manager at the Royal Hawaiian Hotel and as vice president for the Mauna Kea Beach and Hapuna Beach Prince Resorts and Golf Clubs. He also has a number of years of experience working with Starwood Hotels & Resorts and Hyatt International in Hawaii, Guam, the Mariana Islands and the British Virgin Islands. He holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Hotel Management from Michigan State University.

Richard Alexander has been appointed as General Manager at Viceroy Anguilla

A 27-year veteran of the luxury hospitality business, Alexander has held General Manager roles, and worked at the Hotel Executive Committee level, at both Jumeirah Hotels and Hyatt International. His career has taken him all over the world to locations including Spain, Greece, Japan, Dubai, Australia and Indonesia. Prior to joining the Viceroy Anguilla team, Alexander was the General Manager of the Marylebone Hotel in London.

Diane Yost has been appointed as Director of Sales and Marketing at Viceroy Anguilla

Viceroy Hotel Group has announced the appointment of Diane Yost to Director of Sales and Marketing at Viceroy Anguilla. Yost will oversee all sales and marketing efforts at the stunning 35-acre property, which debuted as the first international resort for Viceroy Hotel Group, and set the standard for distinctive style and essence that has become a hallmark of the Viceroy brand. A 28-year veteran of the luxury hospitality business, Yost assumes her role at Viceroy Anguilla after previously serving as Director of Sales and Marketing with Mandarin Oriental Las Vegas for the past year and a half. Yost’s responsibilities included overseeing all aspects of the sales, marketing and public relations operations for the property. Yost offers Viceroy Anguilla a truly global perspective, bringing extensive senior-level management experience with leading international hospitality companies, including Four Seasons Hotel Sydney, Miami and Palm Beach locations, as well as Ritz Carlton Grand Cayman.
