Lavin joins Montage Hotels & Resorts from The Sea Island Company, where he served as vice president of operations and general manager. During his tenure, he played an integral role in driving the growth of company revenues and profits, assembling leading teams and establishing vision. Prior to The Sea Island Company, Lavin served as general manager of the Woodlands Inn, a Salamander resort. Lavin also held the positions of vice president, food and beverage with Greenbrier Resort; director of food and beverage with The Sanctuary at Kiawah Island; and multiple roles with the Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company, including analyst, food and beverage manager, and assistant food and beverage director.
In his role as director of finance, Campsey oversees and directs all financial operations for Montage Palmetto Bluff. Campsey is responsible for developing short- and long-term reports, including financial forecasts, checkbook accounting and payroll variance. He also maintains accounting and administrative policies and procedures for a wide-ranging set of activities including financial accounting and reporting and employee relations
As director of sales & marketing, Gregory is responsible for developing and maximizing strategies to provide optimum revenue streams for all of the resort’s departments. In his role, Gregory provides training, support and guidance to members of the resort sales team to boost individual talents and booking potential.
Craig Schoninger joins The Inn at Palmetto Bluff from The Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company. During his time with The Ritz-Carlton, Schoninger oversaw properties in South Beach, Palm Beach and Amelia Island.
Montage Hotels & Resorts has announced the appointment of Marcus Jackson as General Manager of The Inn at Palmetto Bluff, a Montage Resort, in Bluffton, S.C. Jackson, who has spent almost six years as general manager of Montage Deer Valley, will oversee all operations of the classic Lowcountry address, including The Inn at Palmetto Bluff's two-year expansion project that will welcome 150 additional guestrooms and more than 30 Montage-branded residences in 2016.
