Château Élan Winery & Resort completes $25 Million Renovation

The enchanting château and full-service winery nestled among North Georgia's picturesque foothills, Château Élan Winery & Resort, today proudly announces the completion of its $25 million comprehensive renovation. As the first major renovation since its inception in the mid 1980s, the full redesign ushers in the newest chapter in its storied history by introducing a fresh, yet timeless, modernized design, while still honoring the existing estate's 16th century-style charm. Beckoning a new generation, the transformation includes a complete overhaul of 251 guestrooms and 24 suites, four new food and beverage outlets, the winery, as well as the resort lobby, with a facelift to the existing pool terrace and immersive spa.

The complete transformation introduces a fresh, yet timeless, modernized design while delivering a unique, distinctly southern concept dressed in French undertones, honoring the existing estate's 16th century-style charm. Beckoning a new generation, the transformation will include a complete overhaul of 251 guest rooms and 24 suites, four new food and beverage outlets, the winery, as well as the resort lobby, with a facelift to the existing pool terrace and immersive spa.

As a leader with more than 30 years of experience in the hospitality industry, Rosa has a history of commitment to the Financial and Insurance Planner market for the past 23 years, in addition to being a member of the Hospitality Partners Committee from 2004-2007. Previous work experience includes employment in Task Force Sales and Marketing at Strategic Solution Partners, Director of Sales & Marketing at Villas of Grand Cypress in Orlando, Fla., The Don CeSar in St. Pete Beach, Fla., Turnberry Isle Miami in Aventura, Fla., The Sagamore in Bolton Landing, NY and other various sales roles at Sea Island Company, Maritz Travel Company, The Greenbrier and The Breakers

Kevin Phenegar has been appointed as Director of Food & Beverage at Chateau Elan Winery & Resort

Château Élan Winery & Resort, the enchanting 16th century-styled château and full-service winery nestled among North Georgia's picturesque foothills, proudly announces the addition of Kevin Phenegar to its executive team as director of food and beverage. In this role, Phenegar will be responsible for all food and beverage operations including planning and implementing the menu, oversight of personnel, food production, inventory, catering and more.Phenegar brings an extensive wealth of knowledge and more than 25 years experience to his new role. He most recently served as the director of food and beverage at The Homestead Resort in Hot Springs, Va. and prior to that position he served as the director of resort food and beverage at The Sagamore Resort in Bolton Landing, N.Y., assistant director of food and beverage at Pinehurst Resort in Pinehurst, N.C. and the director of dining at The Driskill Hotel in Austin, Texas. Additional experience includes work with Doubletree and Hyatt Hotels.
