New Castle Re-opens Historic LaSalle Near Texas A&M

Jeremy Buffam and Julian Buffam, partners at New Castle Hotels & Resorts (NCH), a leading hotel investment, development and management company, today announced the reopening of the 55-room, historic LaSalle Hotel in Bryan, Texas following a top-to-bottom, multi-million dollar reimagination. Built in 1928, the hotel is in the heart of downtown Bryan, a recognized Texas Cultural District and sister city to College Station, home of Texas A&M University. The LaSalle joins the Marriott Tribute Portfolio , a family of independent boutique hotels.

New Castle Acquires Historic LaSalle Hotel Near Texas A&M - Plans Renovation and Marriott Soft Branding

Julian Buffam and Jeremy Buffam, partners at New Castle Hotels & Resorts (NCH), a leading hotel investment, development and management company, today announced the acquisition of the 55-room, historic LaSalle Hotel in Bryan, Texas. Built in 1928, the hotel is located in the heart of downtown Bryan, recognized by Forbes as the "Best Small Place" for education, business, and careers. Following an extensive interior and exterior renovation of the property, the LaSalle will join the Marriott Tribute Portfolio , a family of independent boutique hotels. Municipal incentives from the City of Bryan and historic tax credits will help support projected capital improvements of $110K per key.

Cindy Peaslee has been named General Manager at The LaSalle Hotel by Magnolia

Leigh Hitz, president of Stout Street Hospitality, recently announced that Cindy Peaslee has been hired as the general manager of The LaSalle Hotel by Magnolia in Bryan, Texas. Peaslee, a Texas native, was most recently the executive director of the Downtown Bryan Economic Development Association and also worked as the LaSalle’s director of sales from 2003 to 2006. Stout Street Hospitality took over management of the property in 2009.
