Nitesh Lama has been appointed as Director of Sales at De Vere Latimer Estate and De Vere Horsley Estate

Nitesh joins the group with over 14 years' experience working in sales, with over 12 years spent working in the hospitality industry where he has implemented successful sales strategies for a wide range of UK hotels. Nitesh joins from his most recent role as Corporate Sales Manager at the Holiday Inn Kensington High Street. Nitesh also previously worked at Staybridge Suites Heathrow, Holiday Inn London Heathrow, as well as Sofitel, Novotel and Mercure Hotels.

The Luxury Collection Opens Its First Hotel in the English Countryside

The Luxury Collection®, part of Marriott International Inc., today announced the opening of The Langley, A Luxury Collection Hotel, Buckinghamshire. Located just outside of London in the heart of Buckinghamshire's vast Langley Park, The Langley offers 41 sumptuous bedrooms throughout two buildings- the grand and historic former hunting lodge of the third Duke of Marlborough and the adjacent Grade II-listed 18th century Brew House. Following an extensive six-year, multi-million pound renovation, the property opened today as a hotel for the very first time.\

Appointment

Steve Terry has been appointed as Development Director for UK and Ireland at InterContinental Hotels Group (IHG)

Terry will report to Richard Arman, with responsibility for growing Crowne Plaza, the Holiday Inn brand family, Hotel Indigo and Staybridge Suites in the UK and Ireland. He was most recently senior development director at Wyndham Hotels and previously on the board of BDL Hotels, which owns several hotels from the IHG family of brands. Terry first moved into the hotel sector when he joined IHG, then Holiday Inn Worldwide, in 1995.
