Cornelious was most recently with the W New York – Union Square hotel, serving as the Director of Sales and Marketing since 2015. He led the hotel’s sales efforts, as well as managed all marketing, public relations, and promotional activities. Prior to that position, Cornelious was a Senior Sales Manager for The Miami Beach EDITION, based out of New York City, where he also organized pre-opening sales efforts on behalf of The New York EDITION.

Scott Stuckey has been appointed as General Manager at The Gwen, a Luxury Collection Hotel

The Gwen, a Luxury Collection Hotel, Chicago, (521 N. Rush St.) announces Scott Stuckey has been appointed general manager, effective immediately. Bringing more than 27 years of hospitality experience to the role, Stuckey will be overseeing all aspects — from operations to revenue strategy to sales and marketing — of the 300-room luxury hotel located on Chicago’s Magnificent Mile. He will also be responsible for managing The Gwen’s 15,000 square-feet of meeting and event space, Circa restaurant and lounge, and the hotel’s outdoor terrace, Upstairs at The Gwen.

Saber Rejbi has been appointed as Pastry Chef at Hilton Chicago

With more than a decade of hospitality experience, Rejbi will be responsible for the creation, planning and supervision of the production of top quality pastries, desserts and baked goods for Hilton Chicago. In his new position, Rejbi is concentrated on managing the pastry shop team members, working with the executive pastry chef on menu changes, ensuring recipes and standards are followed and guaranteeing adherence to safety standards and regulations to provide top quality goods. Most recently, Rejbi was the executive pastry chef at Advanced Gourmet Equipment and Design, focusing on culinary demonstrations, customer training and teaching culinary classes for all levels. Prior experience includes serving as cous-chef Pastry at Hôtel Concord Opera Paris and chef de partie at Hôtel de Crillon Paris. Throughout his career, Rejbi acquired multiple certificates in pastry and baking including CAP Pastry Certificate and an Advanced Level of the Brevet Technique des Métiers where he specialized in pastry

In his new role, Grossi will oversee all event service activities such as overseeing meetings and convention service staff, forecasting and monitoring group activity, managing team and individual goals and revenue tracking among other functions. Most recently, Grossi served 20 years as the director of events and catering at the Hilton Minneapolis. Prior experience includes serving as associate convention services director at the Hyatt Regency Hotel in Minneapolis, director of food and beverage at the Sheraton Universal Hotel and the director of restaurants at the Sheraton Grande Hotel in Los Angeles. Grossi is a three-time recipient of the leadership award at the Hilton Minneapolis and played an integral role in securing the hotel’s recognition as the Best of Minnesota Meetings and Events Award seven consecutive years. He was also recognized as manager of the year at the Hyatt Regency Hotel in Minneapolis.
