Conrad Macao has announced the appointment of Ms. Janet Chan as Director of Luxury Sales. In her new role Ms. Chan will be responsible for overseeing business and event partnerships within the luxury retail market and will also work closely with premium travel specialists
Originally from Hong Kong, Chef Mak has enjoyed a long culinary career spanning more than 35 years, and has worked for many five-star luxury hotels and restaurants in Beijing, Shanghai, Singapore, Hong Kong and Macao, SAR China. During his career Chef Mak was instrumental in leading the way for fine Chinese dining including taking the helm at the legendary three-Michelin starred Lung King Heen restaurant in Hong Kong, two-Michelin starred Zi Yat Heen restaurant here in Macao, and award-winning restaurants’ Yan Ting in Singapore and T’ang Court in Hong Kong.
Mark McWhinnie, senior vice president of development and shared services and director of Sands Cotai Central has announced the appointment of Bede Barry as general manager, Conrad Macao, Cotai Central, effective immediately.
Hickox has over 18 years of international experience honed from management roles, and in particular pre-opening positions, with various luxury hotel brands such as The Peninsula Hotels, Fairmont Hotels & Resorts, Four Seasons Hotels & Resorts and Design Hotels.
