Together with the proprietor and developer Peker GmbH, as well as RKW+ Architekten, the family-run hotel group is planning a niu called niu Hubbetween the city and airport on the Vogelsanger Weg – an ideal location for not only business travellers. As things stand at present, the niu hotel will open in spring 2021 – with 226 hotel rooms and 201 apartments, one of the largest of the currently 50+ planned niu hotels. "Dusseldorf has again achieved a record figure for overnight stays: we want to be a part of this and are certain that our urban concept with individual storytelling in a living-room atmosphere at a very fair price-performance ratio resonates with the spirit of the times," explains David Etmenan, the CEO and owner of NOVUM Hospitality.
