Michael Rosin has been appointed as General Manager at NYX Hotel Erfurt

Leonardo Hotels created a new lifestyle highlight in the heart of Thuringia in July 2025 following the company's acquisition of the former Radisson Blu Hotel. The NYX Hotel Erfurt by Leonardo Hotels brings urban design, artistic spirit and cosmopolitan flair to one of the city's highest buildings set in the very heart of its historic old quarter. The company was delighted to recruit Michael Rosin, an Erfurt native, as General Manager.

Leonardo Hotels Opens the NYX Hotel Erfurt, a New Lifestyle Highlight in Thuringia

Leonardo Hotels Central Europe is making a new addition to its portfolio in one of East Germany's most exciting cities: On July 1, the hotel company took over the Radisson Blu Hotel in Erfurt. The hotel, which is housed in one of the city's highest buildings, will be renamed the NYX Hotel Erfurt by Leonardo Hotels and will be brought up to the NYX Hotel standard by means of a soft renovation whilst operations continue.

New management at IntercityHotel: Nikolaus Kunz has been appointed Director of the IntercityHotel Erfurt, also with effect from 1 October. Mr. Kunz will be following in the footsteps of Jürgen Kramer, who is retiring after more than 42 years with the company.

Rezidor and prizeotel announce their second joint hotel in Erfurt, Germany

The Rezidor Hotel Group and prizeotel are proud to announce their second joint hotel project in Erfurt, Eastern Germany, only a couple of days after announcing the signing of the prizeotel Bern, Switzerland. This new signing is evidence of Rezidor's rapid expansion plans with prizeotel. The prizeotel Erfurt-City, featuring 208 rooms, will open its doors in 2019 at a premium location with a direct connection to Erfurt central train station, at the start of the urban development project 'ICE City'.
