Global hospitality group The Lux Collective and Jumbo Group in China have signed a hotel management agreement in July 2022 to build the first LUX* urban resort in Guangzhou, China - LUX* Guangzhou. This latest signing marks The Lux Collective's first foray into one of the top three first-tier cities in China and will boost its brand presence in a highly important strategic source market. The new hotel is expected to open in June 2024.

Carlson Rezidor Hotel Group, one of the world's largest and most dynamic hotel groups, today signed a management agreement for Radisson RED Guangzhou South Station. Owned by Guangzhou ROFO Real Estate Development Co., Ltd., this new-build hotel is the second Radisson RED hotel for Carlson Rezidor in China and its fifth in Asia Pacific. Jumeirah Group, the global hotel company and a member of Dubai Holding, has signed a management agreement with GT Land Holdings to operate 169 luxury serviced residences, in addition to the 207-room luxury Jumeirah Guangzhou Hotel, which is already nearing completion.The agreement between GT Land Holdings Limited and Jumeirah Groupwas signed at a ceremony held at Burj Al Araband attended by Mr. Su Meng, Chairman of GT Land, and Mr. Gerald Lawless, President and Group CEO of Jumeirah Group.Set in a prime location on the intersection of Hua Cheng Avenue and in the centre of New Pearl City Tian He District, East Guangzhou, the apartment and hotel complex is located in a rapidly growing commercial centre and upscale hotel district. The area has excellent transport links enabling guests to reach the Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport and Pearl River Delta within 30 minutes.The previously announced 207-room five-star luxury Jumeirah Guangzhou Hotel is scheduled to open in 2015 and will comprise ten food and beverage outlets, a Sky lobby on the 49th floor and banquet and conference centre.
