Fall 2023 Opening for Nikki Beach Resort & Spa Muscat, Oman

Nikki Beach Global, the international luxury lifestyle and hospitality brand, announced today the opening of Nikki Beach Resort & Spa Muscat, which will feature an adjacent beach club - Nikki Beach Muscat - as well as residences, all developed in partnership with OMRAN Group. The luxury hotel - which has already been voted "Best New Hotel Construction and Design Oman" and "Best New Hotel Construction and Design Arabia" at the International Property Awards - is slated to open in fall 2023. The beach club will launch simultaneously with the residences opening shortly after.

Third IntercityHotel opens in Oman

IntercityHotel Muscat, the hotel brand's third property in the Sultanate of Oman, has opened its doors on 1st September 2022. The new hotel building is located within the Ministry and Embassy district of Al Khuwair and is part of the prestigious A'Raya development Complex. IntercityHotel Muscat boasts 273 guest rooms ranging from Standard Rooms to Deluxe Suites. The property includes a special Business Floor offering Business rooms and suites with added benefits of early check-ins, late check-outs, complimentary welcome drinks, and VIP in-room amenities, to name a few. Furthermore, the hotel features the all-day-dining restaurant Citrine as well as a lobby cafe, a pool and gym, a spa with six treatment rooms, four multi-function meeting rooms with a capacity of up to 135 guests and A'Raya Ballroom which can accommodate up to 1,200 guests.

As a Director of Sales and Marketing at Al Bustan Palace, a Ritz-Carlton Hotel, Rahil oversees the handling of the hotel's sales activities, business opportunities and marketing and revenue strategies. He joined the hotel in 2016 as Director of Sales, building on an impressive track record built up over sixteen years and several countries.Starting his career in 2000 as a Front Office Assistant, he has worked his way around some of the world's most prestigious hotels and is recognised for his extensive network, particularly in t he Middle East region. An experienced and highly respected hospitality professional, he has been part of the successful opening and re-opening of three Ritz-Carlton branded hotels in addition to Al Bustan Palace, a Ritz-Carlton Hotel.Known for his hard-working personality and customer-oriented approach, Rahil is well-versed in identifying and capitalizing on potential business opportunities, modelling luxury sales strategies while optimizing sales funnel and market penetration. He has a bachelor's degree in Hotel Management from Bangalore University, India.

Samir Messaoudi has been appointed as General Manager at Sheraton Oman

Sheraton Oman Hotel the iconic landmark of the Sultanate has announced the appointment of Samir Messaoudi as General Manager of the hotel. He brings nearly two decades of experience to his new role; his last appointment was Hotel Manager at JW Marriott Marquis Doha, Qatar since June 2019.Samir has been associated with Marriott International since 2006 joining The Ritz-Carlton, Half Moon Bay, CA in August 2006 as the IRD manager. Samir has worked in various roles in the United States before moving to the Middle East in 2010. He joined the Sharq Village & Spa, a Ritz Carlton Hotel as the Director of Banquets and gained thorough F&B experience in his roles in Doha, Dubai, Jakarta and Oman.Oman is not new to Samir he was earlier the Hotel Manager at the Al Bustan Palace-a Ritz Carlton Hotel, in Muscat from 2016- 2019 prior to moving to Doha. Samir has also been part of the opening taskforce and support teams for a number of luxury properties including Bulgari Hotel & Resort, Dubai.With over two decades of hands on property experience, he has led many teams on creating and enhancing F&B experiences and optimizing pop-up concepts and promotions to drive profitable revenues. He has also won many awards including the SABRE Restaurateur of the year 2012 for Middle East and Africa (Ritz-Carlton Hotels). Samir is a native Arabic speaker holding Tunisian/American citizenship. He has travelled and lived most of his career in the Middle East where he rekindled his love for soccer. He will be moving to Oman with his wife and two children.

Nadine El Assaad Al Bulushi has been appointed as Hotel Manager at Kempinski Hotel Muscat Oman

As the first Omani female hotel manager and an experienced professional hotelier, Nadine El Assaad Al Bulushi has proven to be a creative, efficient leader who believes that the success of an organisation comes from a competent and innovative team.Nadine brings over two decades of experience in hotel operations to her new role with Kempinski Hotel Muscat, starting her career as Front Office Agent at Crowne Plaza Muscat and later being promoted to Assistant Front Office Manager.Nadine next joined the Grand Hyatt Muscat, where she occupied several managerial positions in the rooms' division. During her tenure with Hyatt Corporation, Nadine supported the openings of Hyatt Regency Taba, Egypt, and Park Hyatt Dubai, UAE, as part of the opening task force. In 2006, Nadine made the move from her room division background to the position of Director of Revenue, and, afterwards, Director of Sales and Marketing with Radisson Hotel Group. As part of her career with the Radisson Hotel Group, Nadine supported the opening of Radisson Blu hotels in South Africa, as well as providing regional support for the hotels in Ethiopia, Libya, Kuwait, and Bahrain. Later, she moved on to a cluster role as EAM and Director of Revenue at Radisson Blu Muscat and Sohar.Nadine joined Kempinski Hotel Muscat as Executive Assistant Manager in January of 2019, where she has managed to understand and fully commit to every DNA value in a way that is uniquely Kempinski. She created traditions in the work environment, showed entrepreneurial performance and proved how people-oriented she can be even with our smallest guests and why even those just joining Kempinski have a passion for European luxury.With her revenue background, Nadine was able to swiftly enhance the Sales and Revenue departments and soon managed the operations of the Food and Beverage Department, consisting of a total of 11 outlets.Her excellence and hard work, during these unprecedented times of the COVID-19 outbreak, even beyond her duties, have been a great inspiration to us all, and her compassion for each employee has proven her truly worthy of this promotion.
