As the General Manager, Barun will be responsible for overseeing the successful launch and operations of the newest Crowne Plaza hotel in India. He will lead a team of dedicated industry professionals and staff in managing the hotel, introducing innovative F&B concepts, driving revenues, implementing robust Revenue Management Systems, and ensuring guest & employee satisfaction. Prior to joining Crowne Plaza Today New Delhi Okhla, Barun served as the Hotel Manager at Crowne Plaza Today Gurgaon, where he was an integral part of the pre-opening team and was instrumental in winning multiple accolades for the hotel. During his tenure, Crowne Plaza Today Gurgaon had one of the highest Guest Satisfaction scores in South Asia and Korea. As for Crowne Plaza Today Gurgaon, his strategic insights contributed to the noteworthy success of the hotel. Earlier in his career, Barun has also been associated with prestigious hotel chains including the Grand Hyatt Delhi, The Imperial New Delhi and Hyatt Regency Delhi. A recipient of several industry awards, including the ‘Young Achiever Award in Hospitality’ by Pacific Asia Travel Writers Association, and recognized among the Top 12 Hoteliers in India by Safari India, Barun holds an M.B.A in Marketing and a Bachelors of Arts degree from Delhi University.
