Spirit Ridge at Nk’Mip Resort In British Columbia To Join The Unbound Collection By Hyatt Brand

Hyatt Hotels Corporation (NYSE: H) today announced it has entered into a franchise agreement With Spirit Ridge Owners Association And In December 2017, Spirit Ridge at Nk"Mip Resort will join The Unbound Collection by Hyatt brand, a global collection of unique and story-worthy stay experiences. Situated 175 miles east of Vancouver in Osoyoos, British Columbia, the luxury Spirit Ridge resort will be the first Canadian property affiliated with The Unbound Collection by Hyatt portfolio and sixth globally for the brand, which spans across North America, Latin America and Europe.

Todd Mallen has been appointed as General Manager at Spirit Ridge Vineyard Resort & Spa

A second generation Hotelier and graduate from the Hospitality Management program in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Todd joins Spirit Ridge with a tremendous background in condo resort/hotel management and a passion for exceptional customer service. He joined the staff at Kelowna’s Lake Okanagan Resort in 1987 and had served as the General Manager since 2001. During that time he developed his knowledge and experience in all aspects of resort management. Todd joined the Bellstar Team in 2009 as Canmore Interim General Manager.

Joseph Dubois has been appointed as Director of Sales at Watermark Beach Resort

Joseph Dubois bears a cadre of impressive tourism-industry experience. Most recently, he served as the President of the Dubois Hospitality Group, a consulting firm that specializes in sales and marketing for a number of well-known hotel and resort properties throughout Canada. Prior to this position, he served as the National Director of Internet and Tours for Accent Inns, National Director of Tour and Travel for Coast Hotels and Resorts and as the Canadian Regional Director for JetSet Tours and Holidays.

Paul Scanlon has been appointed as Hotel Manager at Watermark Beach Resort

Born and bred in British Columbia, Scanlon brings a wealth of experience and knowledge about the marketplace and hospitality industry to his new position. Paul comes to the Watermark from the Nita Lake Lodge in Whistler, where he most recently held the position of Hotel Manager and was instrumental in the opening of the new property. Prior to the Nita Lake Lodge, Scanlon was the Director of Operations for Whistler’s two Pan Pacific hotels.

Ingrid Jarrett has been appointed as General Manager at Watermark Beach Resort

A veteran of luxury hotels, Jarrett brings more than 20 years of experience working in various capacities in renowned hotels including The Fairmont Hotel Vancouver, The Fairmont Palliser, The Fairmont Hotel Macdonald and The Fairmont Empress. Prior to her appointment, Jarrett was the General Manager of The Cove Lakeside Resort. She also sits on numerous boards, including that of the British Columbia Hotel Association, the Thompson Okanagan Tourism Association and Tourism Kelowna, in addition to serving as the President of the Central Okanagan Small Producers and Processors Association.
