Carlson Rezidor Signs Management Contract for Radisson Blu Resort Phu Quoc, Vietnam

Carlson Rezidor Hotel Group, one of the world"s largest and most dynamic hotel groups, announced today the signing of a management contract with Phu Quoc Tourist Investment & Development JS Company to develop Radisson Blu Resort Phu Quoc. Scheduled to open in the last quarter of 2017, the new build hotel, with 522 rooms and suites, is set to be a focal point of Phu Quoc. The signing marks the second resort in Vietnam for the Group, following Radisson Blu Resort Cam Ranh Bay, slated to open in 2018.

Regent signs agreement to Develop and Manage Regent Phu Quoc, Vietnam

Regent Hotels & Resorts has signed a management agreement with prominent Vietnamese property developer BIM Group today in Hanoi, to manage Regent Phu Quoc, a luxury hotel and residential development in the heart of Phu Quoc, Vietnam"s largest island. The signing ceremony was attended by the Chairman of Regent Hotels Group, Steven Pan, and Doan Quoc Viet, Chairman of BIM Group. With the launch of Regent Phu Quoc in 2019, Regent Hotels & Resorts" global property portfolio will increase to nine and Regent Phu Quoc will be the company"s third mixed-use development comprising luxury residences and a hotel. Even in its early stages of development, the property has already scooped an award as Winner in the New Hotel Construction & Design Vietnam category at the 2017 Asia Pacific Property Awards. Regent Phu Quoc will be in the heart of Phu Quoc Marina, set to be the hottest new destination in Vietnam. The spectacular 400-room waterfront property will bring true luxury to this new lifestyle destination. It will offer both spacious hotel rooms and private residences; each unit will be equipped with a Lake Villa, Beach or Sky Villa that will include a private swimming pool and magnificent sea views. Olivier has more than 35 years of experience in hotel industries and was in the position of General Manager for over 10 years at various well known hotels and resorts such as the Accor Group in Hanoi Vietnam, Indonesia, New Caledonia Gambia and Thailand. Olivier began his career with Centara Hotels and Resorts as the General Manager of Centara Grand Beach Resort and Spa Sokhna in Egypt.
