Mercure Living Putrajaya Inaugurated

His Majesty, The Yang di-Pertuan Agong Al-Sultan Abdullah Ri'ayatuddin Al-Mustafa Billah Shah Ibni Almarhum Sultan Haji Ahmad Shah Al-Musta'in Billah officially inaugurated Mercure Living Putrajaya. The inauguration was carried out with the signing of a plaque and a ribbon-cutting ceremony during the grand opening on 10th January 2024. Mercure Living Putrajaya is Accor's first Mercure Living concept in Asia. Accor is a world-leading hospitality Group with over 1,000 properties in the Middle East, Africa, and Asia Pacific.

Dorsett Putrajaya, managed by Dorsett Hospitality International and scheduled to open in Q4 of 2015 is pleased to announce the following appointment: Asmawi Ahmad Zabidi as Human Resources Manager. A graduate of University Teknologi Mara majoring in Human Resource Management, Asmawi in his newly appointed role will be in charge of the overall recruitment of the soon-to-open property and day-to-day management of the hotel’s associates’ welfare, implementation of human resources policies and procedures as well as all strategic management of all human resources matters.

Azrule Aziz has been appointed as the Director of Operations for Dorsett Putrajaya, Malaysia. Azrule will be assisting in the Dorsett Putrajaya pre-opening activities and strategic business planning. Azrule brings along with him more than 10 years working experience in the hospitality industry. Before joining Dorsett Putrajaya, Azrule was the Director of Food & Beverage at JW Marriott Surabaya, Indonesia. Prior to that he was with Hotel Majapahit Surabaya, Indonesia, The Royale Chulan Kuala Lumpur and Newport Marriot, Rhoda Island-USA.
