Sparks has been tasked to drive overall sales, marketing, and public relations efforts. With over 20 years hospitality and marketing experience, Sparks brings an unparalleled combination of sales and marketing expertise along with client relationship development. He most recently served as Area Director of Sales and Marketing in Irving, TX, keeping two Hilton branded hotels, totaling 308 rooms, profitable during the 3 years of the pandemic as the sole salesperson where he managed and conducted intensive data analysis and sales performance management to ensure the achievement of revenue milestones, as well as developed and monitored upcoming travel segments across multiple industries to ensure future growth as business travel returned.

3D Development and Midas Open Element Hotel in Texas

Midas, a leading hotel management and investment firm, recently announced the opening of its new Element by Westin hotel. The $22 million hotel is located at 2205 North Glenville Dr. in Richardson, Texas. The Element is part of a 5.2-acre mixed-use development and joint venture with 3D Development, a real estate development company with offices in Georgia, Tennessee, and Texas.

Fresh off opening its first Houston location, the upscale Cambria Hotels brand, franchised by Choice Hotels International, Inc. (NYSE: CHH), opens the Cambria Hotel Richardson - Dallas. The hotel is the ninth Cambria location to open its doors this year — together representing over 1,200 upscale rooms. Up to three more Cambria hotels are expected to open in top-tier markets across the country by year end.
