Ahmed Fawzy has been appointed as Executive Chef at Four Seasons Hotel Riyadh

Four Seasons Hotel Riyadh is pleased to announce the appointment of Ahmed Fawzy as its new Executive Chef. Chef Fawzy will be overseeing all of the Hotel's food & beverage operations that include the Lobby Lounge, The Grill, Elements, ROSSO as well as in-room dining. Chef Fawzy has had a long-standing journey with Four Seasons hotels that began in 2000 at Four Seasons Hotel Cairo at the First Residence. Since then he has worked as Banquet Chef, Restaurant Chef and Executive Sous Chef at Four Seasons Hotel Doha, and most recently was the Executive Sous Chef at Four Seasons Hotel Riyadh.

Wassim Tarabay has been appointed as General Manager at Radisson Blu Hotel, Riyadh

Radisson Blu Hotel, Riyadh has appointed Lebanese national Wassim Tarabay as hotel manager, who brings with him more than 17 years of experience in the hospitality industry. Tarabay started his career with Rezidor SAS Hospitality's regional office in the Middle East before moving to the Radisson SAS, Dubai Media City as director of sales in 2005. His career path has taken him to Dubai, Khobar and most recently to Kuwait. His latest position was as executive assistant manager at Symphony Style Hotel Kuwait where he was part of the rebranding of the hotel. In his new role, Tarabay will help manage the overall operation of the 294-room hotel, lead the sales team to maximise revenue, and achieve overall profitability and deliver quality service.

Christian Resetarits has been appointed as Director of Sales & Marketing at Burj Rafal Hotel Kempinski

Burj Rafal Hotel Kempinski is pleased to announce the appointment of Christian Resetarits as director of sales and marketing. In this new role, Christian will be leading the sales and marketing team of this 349-room hotel. Christian Resetarits, who recently joined us at Burj Rafal Hotel Kempinski, transferred from Vienna, Austria, where he was the director of sales at Palais Hansen Kempinski Vienna. Christian is a knowledgeable, established and driven character from Germany.

Kamel Ajami has been appointed as vice president of operations for Saudi Arabia. at Hilton Worldwide

Bringing a wealth of industry experience spanning 35 years, Ajami takes the helm of Hilton Worldwide’s fast growing presence in Saudi Arabia. The company is currently present with its Waldorf Astoria, Hilton, DoubleTree and Hilton Garden Inn brands – featuring a portfolio of eight trading properties and a pipeline of nearly 30 hotels currently under development.

George Ganchev has been named General Manager at Burj Rafal Hotel Kempinski

Ganchev brings more than 23 years of hospitality experience to his new role, having previously worked at several five-star and luxury hotels. Prior to joining Burj Rafal Hotel Kempinski, he executed several successful revenue-generating programmes at Kempinski hotels in the region. Ganchev graduated from Neoma Business School in France with an EMBA in Hospitality and Tourism. Burj Rafal Hotel Kempinski opened in Riyadh in 2014 and features 350 rooms and suites.

Aiman Roujouleh has been appointed as Regional Director of Sales Middle East at Mandarin Oriental

Roujouleh first joined Mandarin Oriental in April 2012 as regional director of sales, Saudi Arabia and Bahrain, based in Riyadh. His remit has been extended to include the whole Middle East region, including Turkey. In his new role, Roujouleh will focus on building and developing a sales team of six people based in both Riyadh and Dubai. Prior to his tenure with Mandarin Oriental, Roujouleh was associate regional director of sales for Four Seasons Hotels & Resorts, based in Saud Arabia. He has a Bachelor of Business Administration (Hospitality) from Les Roches, Switzerland.

Andrea Colla has been named Food and Beverage Director at Four Seasons Hotel Riyadh

With 20 years of experience in hospitality, Andrea started his career in Venice, his native city in Italy, and throughout the years has held key management positions with some of the finest hotels in Europe before joining the family of Four Seasons. His most recent tenure was as Director of Food and Beverage at Four Seasons Hotel Gresham Palace Budapest. He is a graduate of the Learning Centre Starwood with a diploma in food and beverage and the Institute Alberghiero Giuseppe Maffioli, Castelfranco Veneto with a national diploma in hotel and catering management.
