Hyatt Hotels Corporation (NYSE: H) today announces the opening of Hyatt Place Rouen, expanding the Hyatt Place brand's global footprint in markets that matter most to guests and World of Hyatt members. Combining style, innovation and 24/7 convenience, the new hotel features a modern design, casual atmosphere, and practical amenities, such as three meeting rooms, a restaurant with French regional cuisine, onsite spa with a heated pool and treatment rooms, and state-of-the-art fitness centre.

Cycas-Managed Hyatt Place Rouen Opening Late 2023

Complementing further Cycas Hospitality developments in the region, is the forthcoming opening of Hyatt Place Rouen, the first Hyatt hotel within the Normandy region. Scheduled to open late 2023, Hyatt Place Rouen will offer 78 guestrooms, meeting spaces for approximately 100 guests and a state-of-the-art gym and swimming pool. The property will be developed from a former 19th century school building, located near the railway station and the old city centre.

Hyatt Place Brand Expands Presence with Hotel Development in Rouen, France

Hyatt Hotels Corporation (NYSE: H) announced today that a Hyatt affiliate has entered into a franchise agreement with a subsidiary of Matmut S.A.M. to develop the first Hyatt-branded hotel in Rouen, the capital of Normandy, France. Managed by Cycas Hospitality, Hyatt Place Rouen will be the second Hyatt Place hotel in France, and will join the dual-branded Hyatt Place and Hyatt House hotels at Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport that are currently under development. The Hyatt Place project in Rouen reflects the brand's strong momentum in the fast-growing select service category as Hyatt Place hotels continue to expand across Europe.

Jean Marie GRAS ESSEC IMHI 2003 has been appointed as General Manager of Hôtel de Bourgtheroulde & Spa 5* Rouen affiliated Marriott Autograph Collection. Prior to that, Jean-Marie was General Manager for 6 years at Grand Hôtel Loreamar, St Jean de Luz. He staterd his career as General Manager of Anjajavy Resort 4* in Madagascar just after graduation, where he stayed for 3 years.
