Hatta Teo has been appointed as senior manager of hotel development, APAC at Worldhotels

Based in the WorldHotels' Asia Pacific Singapore Regional Office, Teo joins the company as a senior manager, overseeing hotel development in Asia Pacific. Prior to joining WorldHotels, Teo spent three years at the Shangri-La Hotel Singapore, spearheading the property's new events revenue management initiatives. Over the course of his career, Teo has also worked at international chains including the Mandarin Oriental Geneva, Capella Singapore and the Grand Hyatt Singapore. Teo received his Bachelor of Business Administration (Honors) in Hospitality Management from Glion Institute of Higher Education in Switzerland.

Sereena Supa’at has been appointed as Director of Sales & Marketing at Six Senses Hotels in Singapore

Sereena Supa'at has been named director of sales and marketing for Six Senses Duxton and Six Senses Maxwell. Six Senses Duxton, the group's first city hotel and first Singapore property, opened on 15 April. With over 15 years' experience in the luxury hospitality sector, Sereena has cultivated and expanded target audiences while delivering top and bottom-line results. Six Senses Singapore, comprising of Six Senses Duxton and Six Senses Maxwell, will be Sereena's fifth and sixth pre-opening hotel projects. At Six Senses she looks forward to setting targets, identifying growing market segments and leading her team by example to build relationships based on respect, loyalty and trust. Prior to joining Six Senses, Sereena spent four years at Patina Capitol Singapore as Director of Sales and Marketing, where she created a highly energized sales culture. She has worked for ultra-luxury hotels and resorts including Patina Hotels and Resorts, Capella Singapore, St. Regis, Mandarin Oriental Hotels, The Fullerton Hotel and Banyan Tree Hotels and Resorts. Born and raised in Singapore, Sereena completed her diploma Business Studies and Marketing at Ngee Ann Polytechnic.

Darren Edmonstone has been appointed as Chief Executive Officer at Next Hotels & Resorts

Originally from Australia, Darren Edmonstone joins Next Story Group from Outrigger Resorts. As CEO of Next Hotels & Resorts, Darren will be responsible for driving highly customized guest offerings and delivering operational excellence across the Next, Sage, Country Comfort & other hotel brands within the group. Darren will oversee their executive roles from the Singapore headquarters of Next Story Group.

Jeane Lim has been appointed as General Manager at Parkroyal on Pickering

Pan Pacific Hotels Group has appointed Jeane Lim as general manager of PARKROYAL on Pickering. Prior to this appointment, Lim was most recently the general manager of Destination Singapore Beach Road. Her career spans 30 years, where the first 18 was spent with Grand Hyatt Singapore in areas of guest services, business development and sales. Tan then spent the next 12 years with Millennium Hotels & Resorts in various positions such as director of sales and marketing at Copthorne King's Hotel, and vice-president global sales Asia.

Rex Loh has been appointed as Cluster Director of Sales and Marketing at JW Marriott Singapore South Beach, St Regis Singapore, and W Singapore Sentosa Cove

As Cluster Director of Sales and Marketing, Loh will oversee all matters for sales and marketing for JW Marriott Singapore South Beach, St Regis Singapore, and W Singapore Sentosa Cove. He will report to Managing Director Stephane Fabregoul, for JW Marriott Singapore South Beach and St Regis Singapore, as well as to Mr Krister Svensson, General Manager for W Singapore Sentosa Cove. In this strategic role, Loh will also work closely with Mr Peter Foreman, Marriott International Senior Director of Sales & Distribution - Luxury Brands, APEC.

Oliver Sturmayr has been appointed as Hotel Manager at JW Marriott Singapore South Beach

Sturmayr started his career working in front-of-house roles at highly regarded restaurants in Austria and Germany before joining One&Only Resorts, where he honed his management skills with various food and beverage related appointments. His career progressed into hotel management when he took on the role of Resident Manager at One&Only The Palm, Dubai before he joined W Retreat & Spa, Bali, just prior to his current role. As JW Marriott Singapore South Beach's Hotel Manager, Sturmayr reports directly to Managing Director Stephane Fabregoul in regards to all business- and operations- related matters of the Rooms, Food & Beverage Divisions and the signature Spa by JW. In his free time, Sturmayr enjoys checking out new restaurant openings and keeping up with local and international dining trends. He also enjoys snow-sports and loves to ski and snowboard.

Xavi Gonzalez has been appointed as General Manager at The St. Regis Singapore

Hailing from Barcelona, Spain, his career began in 1998 at the Hotel Arts Barcelona, a property managed by The Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company, where he undertook Food & Beverage and Catering Sales positions. His dynamic personality and impressive leadership qualities led him to assume Management roles within the group including The Ritz-Carlton Penha Longa Golf & Spa Resort, Portugal, The Ritz-Carlton Shanghai Pudong, as well as The Ritz-Carlton Jakarta, Pacific Place. He also played an instrumental role in several rebranding and launch projects including the opening of The New York EDITION, and most recently led the successful opening of The Sanya EDITION – the first EDITION property in Asia Pacific.

Timothy Tan has been appointed as Director of Business Development at Conrad Centennial Singapore

Conrad Centennial Singapore today announced the appointment of Timothy Tan as Director of Business Development. At Conrad Centennial Singapore, Tan will lead efforts to increase revenue, individual and group reservations as well as event sales through new business and the expansion of existing partnerships. He will also provide guidance for local marketing initiatives. Tan will report to Heinrich Grafe, General Manager of Conrad Centennial Singapore.
