B&B HOTELS, Europe's fastest-growing economy and value for money hotel brand, has officially launched its first UK hotel at London Heathrow, unveiling its B&B HOTELS product in the UK for the very first time.
Chris Thomas has joined the team at Moxy & Residence Inn Slough, moving from his previous role as General Manager at Courtyard by Marriott London City Airport. The move marks Chris' fourth position within Cycas Hospitality, having first joined the company back in 2014 as Director of Sales at the flagship Holiday Inn & Staybridge Suites London Stratford.
From September Philip Steiner will take up the General Manager position for Cycas's upcoming Moxy and Residence Inn by Marriott double-decker hotel in Slough (opening April 2021). Since joining Cycas two years ago as Director of Accommodations & Serviced Apartments, Philip has been instrumental in introducing new operational systems across its portfolio to support the company's European expansion. In recognition of his hotel operations expertise, in February 2020 he became the first-ever winner of HSMAI Europe's Young Talent of the Year Award.
Cycas Hospitality and Slough Urban Renewal (SUR) have agreed heads of terms for two new Marriott International hotels - Moxy and Residence Inn - to be located on the former Central Library site, a landmark location on the A4 between the station and the town centre.
