Mike Haaf has been named Chief Marketing Officer at Extended Stay Hotels
HVM LLC, which manages the 685-property Extended Stay Hotel chain, has named Michael J. Haaf Chief Marketing Officer. In this new position, Mr. Haaf will be responsible for marketing, brand strategy and positioning, as well as sales and revenue management. The announcement was made today by Gary DeLapp, president and CEO of HVM, to whom Mr. Haaf will report. Mr. Haaf has made a career of successfully invigorating sales, identifying new sources of profitability and reviving brand equity for some of the most recognizable companies in the U.S. He served, most recently, as Senior Vice President of Sales, Marketing and Business Strategy for Food Lion LLC. Prior to that he held senior leadership positions at Office Depot, First USA Bank, Haemonetics Corporation and General Electric Company and was a senior consultant at KPMG.
