Commonwealth Hotels announced today that Max Schultz has been appointed the dual general manager of the Hyatt House and the Hyatt Place Chicago/Naperville/Warrenville. Mr. Schultz brings over 15 years of hospitality experience to his new role as general manager having previously served as the operations manager of the Hyatt Place Chicago O'Hare Airport.
Commonwealth Hotels is excited to announce the hiring of Daniel Speulda as the new Dual General Manager of the Hyatt House and Hyatt Place Chicago/Naperville/Warrenville. Speulda joins the growing organization after holding numerous management positions across the country, from Austin to the suburbs of Philadelphia.
A new 121-room hotel is to be built on Diehl Road and Interstate 88 in Naperville.
Lou DeMarchi has been promoted to general manager of the Hilton Garden Inn of Warrenville, Ill. Previously, DeMarchi was the general manager at the Courtyard Chicago Midway Airport, where he led the property through a 3.5 million dollar renovation. DeMarchi also served as the first assistant manager at the Hyatt Place Hotel in Lombard, Ill., where he was responsible for overseeing all operational departments of the property and helped managed the conversion property form the original Amerisuites Hotel to a Hyatt Place.
