Gerhard Aicher has been appointed as Area General Manager at Marco Polo Hotels, Hong Kong

Wharf Hotels, the Hong Kong-SAR-based hospitality group, today announced the appointment of Gerhard Aicher as the new Area General Manager of Marco Polo Hotels in Hong Kong, effective 12 June 2023. Reporting to the group's Vice President, Operations, Gerhard will lead the teams at Marco Polo Hongkong Hotel; Gateway Hotel, Hong Kong and Prince Hotel, Hong Kong in delivering operational excellence and enhancing financial performance.

Anthony Costa has been appointed as General Manager at Mandarin Oriental, Hong Kong

Anthony Costa has been appointed General Manager of Mandarin Oriental, Hong Kong. Mr Costa began his career with the Group as Resident Manager of Mandarin Oriental, Hong Kong in January 2007. He was General Manager of The Landmark Mandarin Oriental, Hong Kong for five years before moving to the helm of Mandarin Oriental, Tokyo. During his tenure, the hotel became the first and only hotel in Japan to be awarded the prestigious Forbes Five-Star rating by the annual Forbes Travel Guide Awards.

Jan-Hendrik Meidinger has been appointed as General Manager at The Excelsior

Jan-Hendrik Meidinger  brings 25 years of luxury hospitality experience to Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group. He joins The Excelsior from his most recent role as General Manager of Park Hyatt Saigon. Jan-Hendrik joined the Hyatt Group as Assistant Front Office Manager at the Grand Hyatt Hong Kong in 1999, and rose to Executive Assistant Manager, Rooms. He was later appointed General Manager of Hyatt Regency Guam in 2010. A German national, Mr Meidinger graduated from the University of Surrey, UK, majoring in International Tourism and Hospitality Management.

A native of Beijing who calls Hong Kong home, Ms. Mao joined Marriott in 1996. AB Concept designs Noi, the new restaurant of the Four Seasons Hong Kong

Four Seasons Hong Kong is considered a landmark at the edge of Victoria Harbour combining culinary stature with wellness. In 2021, sixteen years after it first opened its doors, the hotel revealed a new welcome experience designed by international interior design studio AB Concept. As part of an extensive refurbishment, AB Concept designed the hotel's arrival porte cochere and entrance facade, lobby and the Lobby Lounge Gallery, as well as the new award-winning destination cocktail bar, ARGO. This autumn, AB Concept unveils its design for Noi, the new restaurant lounge led by Argentinian-born Michelin-starred chef, Paulo Airaudo.
