Eliane Barradas has been named Director of Sales at CasaMagna Marriott Puerto Vallarta Resort and Spa

Eliane joins CasaMagna Marriott Puerto Vallarta Resort and Spa after spending three years as associate director of sales for groups and events at The St. Regis Mexico City. In addition, she has achieved an array of professional success at various Marriott properties throughout Mexico and Portugal by increasing social sales and creating loyalty with top companies. Highlights of her accomplishments include receiving Manager of the Month (February 2012) at The St. Regis, Mexico City and the Continental Europe Event Management Team Special Achievement Award.

Demetrio Maduro has been appointed as General Manager at CasaMagna Marriott Puerto Vallarta Resort and Spa

CasaMagna Marriott Puerto Vallarta Resort and Spa today announced the appointment of Demetrio Maduro as general manager. Maduro strengthens the resort team with nearly 30 years of hospitality management experience. He spent part of the early stages of his career from 1993 to1999 at CasaMagna Marriott Puerto Vallarta as the director of groups and conventions and his return to the resort comes with much anticipation. Maduro joins CasaMagna Marriott Puerto Vallarta Resort and Spa after spending three years as general manager at Renaissance Caracas La Castellana Hotel. He has a strong understanding of multiple roles as he has achieved professional success with various positions at seven properties throughout Mexico and South America. These properties include Hotel Marriot Caesar Park Panamá in Panama City, Costa Rica Marriott Hotel, Los Sueños Marriott Ocean & Golf Resort, Panama Marriott Hotel, and JW Marriott Mexico City.

Lauren Carr has been appointed as Director of Sales & Marketing at Las Ventanas al Paraíso, A Rosewood Resort

Carr joins Rosewood Hotels & Resorts following five years with Fairmont Hotels & Resorts. Most recently, Carr served as Director of Sales & Marketing at Fairmont Newport Beach. Previously, she spent three years as Fairmont Washington, D.C. as Director of Group Sales, where she led the team to become Fairmont’s Sales Team of the Year for 2008. Carr began her hospitality career with Marriott International in 2002, where she held Sales Manager positions in New York City for several years before moving to the Renaissance Mayflower Washington D.C. as Senior Account Executive in 2006. During her tenure with Marriott, Carr was the recipient of Marriott International’s 2003 Sales Manager of the Year Award. Carr holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Hospitality Administration from Boston University. She currently resides in Newport Beach, California.
