Stéphane Trycionka has been appointed as Director of Sales & Marketing at Corinthia Hotel London

Five-star hotel, Corinthia London, announces the appointment of Stéphane Trycionka, as Director of Sales & Marketing. With 11 years of experience in the luxury hotel industry, this role will see Stéphane in charge of driving international sales to the flagship Corinthia Hotels’ property. Stéphane joins us from his role as Director of Sales & Marketing at the Hôtel Métropole Monte-Carlo in Monaco, where he was responsible for improving the performance and global exposure of the hotel.

Douglas Winfield has been appointed as General Manager at Courtyard by Marriott Edinburgh

A general manager has been appointed to lead the team at the brand new Courtyard by Marriott in Edinburgh, due to open in autumn 2016. Experienced hotelier Douglas Winfield will be tasked with overseeing the launch of the city centre hotel, as well as ensuring its ongoing success. The new hotel, located at the top of Leith Walk within the capital’s New Town conservation area, will occupy three category-A listed Georgian townhouses – once home to the Stevenson family, including Robert Stevenson, famed Scottish lighthouse engineer and grandfather of author Robert Louis Stevenson.

Kevin Underwood has been appointed as Principal and Head of Master Planning & Design at HKS Inc.

HKS Hospitality Group, the global architectural practice recognized internationally for its creative design and collaborative approach, has announced the appointment of Kevin Underwood as Principal and Head of Master Planning & Design. Underwood, whose 30-year career in master planning and landscape design has spanned award-winning hotel/resort projects, as well as major urban regeneration schemes around the world, will be based in the firm’s London office. In his previous roles, Underwood was the Principal in charge of Hospitality at Edaw before Aecom acquired it, and then he was the Global Leader of Leisure and Culture at Aecom. In this role, he led the teams responsible for such notable designs as the seminal Heart of Doha/Msheireb project and Education City Doha, as well as the world’s first Qu’ranic garden, Disneyland Paris and a number of international developments for luxury hotel brands including the Four Seasons, Ritz-Carlton, Hyatt, and Banyan Tree.
