He has worked for large chains and well-known groups across the globe including UAE, the US and the UK as General Manager, Group Director of Sales and Marketing as well as Head of Revenue. He has a proven track record for achieving high multi-million revenues and prides himself on his Marketing skills to position hotels as the highest ranking in their areas.

The Hoxton puts down roots on Shepherd’s Bush Green

London, we're back! Seeing out 2022 with a bang, The Hoxton will open in Shepherd's Bush this December: its fourth hotel in its hometown (and twelfth in The Hoxton series) and an exciting addition that puts the brand in all corners of the capital, with its design-driven, community-focused hotels now in east, south, central and west London. Located on the north end on Shepherd's Bush green, in the beating heart of the eclectic and diverse neighbourhood, the hotel will have 237 playfully-designed bedrooms, Thai-Americana restaurant Chet's serving up fiery flavours, natural wines and spicy coriander martinis, a large open lobby with vintage seating and cosy corners, a central wraparound bar and terrace where guests can enjoy cocktails and coffees, a standalone retail store that will serve the community, and The Apartment meeting and events space.

fforest's first hotel - The Albion - opens in Cardigan, Wales

Outdoor lifestyle pioneer and staycation retreat favourite - fforest - will open its first hotel across two Grade II listed former warehouses this August. Alive with historical treasures, the hotel is themed around Cardigan's maritime past and the local legend of the brig, Albion, which sailed 180 passengers from Cardigan to Canada in 1819. The hotel will provide a permanent legacy of that voyage and the spirit and endeavour of those aboard.

In addition to his current purview over Pan Pacific Hotels Group's properties in Malaysia and Indo-China (Vietnam, Myanmar, Thailand, and Cambodia), Richard has been appointed to also drive the operational performance of the Group's properties in Dhaka and Nairobi.
