The 80-room Fairfield by Marriott in Colorado Springs, Colorado is scheduled to open this Wednesday, October 23, 2019 with a new décor that provides guests with a feeling of warmth and calm while traveling. Located at 4107 Tutt Boulevard, the Fairfield by Marriott Inn & Suites Colorado Springs/Ballpark will operate as a Marriott franchise, owned by Freeman & Kallaher Colorado Properties, LLC and managed by InterMountain Management, LLC of Monroe, Louisiana.

The Sheraton Denver Downtown Embarks on $80 Million Phased Renovation

The Sheraton Denver Downtown this week announced the official start of an $80 million hotel renovation that will change the face of the hotel and the 16th Street Mall. Sheraton Denver Downtown has long been an anchor in Downtown Denver, serving as the largest events hotel in the city with unmatched heritage and deep roots in the local community. Once transformed, the hotel will reflect the new Sheraton experience, making it one of the first to do so in North America.

BMC Investments and Vision Hospitality Group Break Ground on Hyatt House Denver/Aurora, CO

Denver-based BMC Investments(BMC) in partnership with Chattanooga-based Vision Hospitality Group, Inc., has broken ground on a 140-key extended stay Hyatt House hotel at the Fitzsimons Medical Campus in Aurora, which will include 8,000 square feet of ground level retail. BMC acquired the property, which is located at the southeast corner of Colfax and Peoria - also known as the Gateway at Fitzsimons - in 2013. The project will be one of the first opportunity zone projects in the Denver metro area to break ground. The Hyatt House hotel will be managed by Vision Hospitality Group. The 8,000 square feet on the ground floor will focus on convenience retail and restaurants to further cater to the community.

Amy Healy has been appointed as General Manager at Hilton Garden Inn (HGI) Denver Union Station

Healy joined the HGI team with more than 20 years of hospitality management experience. Previously, she was the opening general manager for Geronimo Parks, where she created and oversaw the opening project's budget, staff and implementation of the park's internal culture. Healy also led the Hotel Indigo Denver team as its opening general manager. She oversaw the opening of the 180-room hotel and full-service restaurant, created the hotel's opening budget, organized teams and drove the project forward to meet deadlines and milestones in its opening year.Prior to Hotel Indigo Denver, Healy was with Island Hospitality Management, and, previously, more than 13 years with Larkspur Hotels and Restaurants in several roles, from front desk manager to regional/area general manager.

Teresa McNamara-Worcester has been appointed as Director of Sales and Marketing at Hilton Garden Inn (HGI) Denver Union Station

McNamara-Worcester joined the HGI team with more than 20 years of sales and marketing experience. Previously, she was the task force director of sales for Renaissance San Diego (now Hotel Republic, an Autograph Collection Hotel), leading the sales team through the transition of the hotel to an independent minded brand. McNamara-Worce ster spent nearly eight years with Starwood Hotels & Resorts, most recently as the associate director of sales for new builds and transitions. In this role, she supported the openings of all 10 Starwood lifestyle brands located in the U.S. and Canada. She provided strategic guidance for all hotel sales teams, targeting transient and group business to their specific markets. She also spent four years as the task force director and director of group sales for Davidson Hotel & Resorts, the operator of HGI Denver Union Station.
