Sherrie Huebner has been appointed as Spa Director at the Spa at The Ritz-Carlton Lodge

With more than 15 years of spa and wellness industry experience, Huebner was most recently director of spa services for the Natural Wellness USA, a retail, spa and movement space based in Arlington, Texas. Prior to that, she served as spa director for Lake Austin Spa Resort in Austin, Texas, and at Arizona Biltmore Resort & Spa in Phoenix. Additionally, she helped conceive, launch and operate the luxury spas at Hyatt Hill Country Resort & Spa in San Antonio and the St. Regis Hotel and Spa in Los Angeles.

Kenneth Alcott has been appointed as Regional Sales Manager at Marriott ExecuStay®

As regional sales manager, Alcott is responsible for the management of the sales efforts within his territory, including business development, brand awareness and market share growth. Based in Atlanta, Georgia, he will manage relationships in Georgia, Florida, South Carolina, Alabama, Mississippi, Arkansas and Louisiana. Before joining ExecuStay, Alcott was senior account executive for market sales for Courtyard by Marriott Northlake and TownePlace Suites by Marriott Northlake, both located in Atlanta. Alcott earned his bachelor’s degree from Barry University in Miami, Fla., and is pursuing a master’s degree in business administration from the University of Phoenix.

Bob Webster has been named Managing Director at Jones Lang LaSalle Hotels

In his new role as Managing Director, Webster will focus on harnessing his expertise to gain market share in full service investment sales across the Americas. In addition, Webster will be able to leverage Jones Lang LaSalle Hotels’ global platform to offer his clients a wider array of solutions, including debt financing, strategic advisory and asset management services. During his near 30-year career, Webster has demonstrated a commitment to putting his clients first while creating real estate and finance solutions. His expertise includes senior positions that span every segment of the hotel industry including operations, real estate consulting, development, brokerage and finance. Webster joins Jones Lang LaSalle Hotels from Hodges Ward Elliott. He will operate from the firm’s Atlanta office, yet service clients throughout the Americas.

Camille Johnson has been appointed as Catering Manager at The Doubletree Hotel Atlanta NE/Northlake

Ms. Johnson, a graduate of Georgia State University, joins the hotel from Atlanta’s The Glenn Hotel, where she served as the Catering and Conference Services Manager. Both the Doubletree Hotel Atlanta NE/Northlake and The Glenn are managed by Denver-based Sage Hospitality. Before joining The Glenn, Ms. Johnson held management-level positions at several Marriott properties in metro Atlanta, including the Marriott Atlanta Midtown Suites, the Atlanta Marriott Marquis and the Atlanta Marriott Century City.

Kermit Griffin has been appointed as Director and Executive Chef at Richmond Hill City Center

John G. Wilderman Founder of The Wilderman Group, announced the appointment of Chef Kermit Griffin as Director and Executive Chef of Richmond Hill City Center. Griffin, of Bluffton, SC, was appointed Executive Chef in April 2010 when the LEED-registered multi-use facility opened. Wilderman comments that, “Chef Kermit has demonstrated strong leadership and organization skills that perfectly complement his unique culinary talents.” As a major proponent of sustainable food programs, Griffin’s popular Chef Tables have created excitement and praise as he introduced the local and regional community to his unique farm-to-table cuisine with intimate gatherings and innovative tastings. Griffin, who earned his bachelors degree in Hotel Resort and Tourism Management from the University of South Carolina, brings more than ten years of culinary experience to the position, having started his career as a Saucier/Sous Chef at Germantown Cricket Club in Philadelphia, PA where he honed his fine-dining skills and garnered experience in banquets and catering with a focus on fresh ingredients and sustainable food products.

Rosie Bailey Stevens has been appointed as Director of Sales & Marketing at Crowne Plaza Atlanta Perimeter at Ravinia

Ms. Bailey Stevens joins Crestline Hotels & Resorts from the Noble Investment Group where she was Director of Sales & Marketing for the Holiday Inn Select Capitol Atlanta. She brings more than 20 years of hospitality industry sales and management experience to her new position, having also worked for the B.F. Saul Company as Director of Sales & Marketing for its portfolio of National Airport Hotels and their Dulles Hotel Cluster, Washington, D.C. She began her hospitality career with the Grand Palazzo Hotel – The Ritz-Carlton, St. Thomas, U.S.V.I.

Beth Hogberg has been named Director of Sales and Marketing at Hotel Indigo-Atlanta Downtown

Ms. Hogberg has spent six very successful years as Director of Sales for five of Hotel Equities’ Atlanta area hotels, including The Lodge at Simpsonwood, a retreat and conference center located in Norcross. Previously, she served as Senior Account Manager with USA TODAY with responsibility for sales, marketing and promotions to the hospitality and food service industries in a five-state territory. Residents of Suwanee, Georgia, Ms. Hogberg and her husband Bob are the parents of two sons. She enjoys spending time with friends and family on their boat at Lake Lanier.

Mark Rousseau has been appointed as Senior Vice President at Molinaro Koger (MK)

Prior to joining Molinaro Koger, Mr. Rousseau served as President of Hardage Suite Hotels, the real estate ownership and development arm of the Woodfin Suite and Chase Suite hotel brands. In this capacity, Mr. Rousseau created and implemented all real estate and brand strategy. Under his guidance Hardage Suite Hotels completed a major refinancing, restructuring, and repositioning of its portfolio, which included expansion of the upscale, full-service suite hotel product through ground-up development funded by the company, in conjunction with joint venture partners, and via franchise relationships.

Deanna LoRusso has been named General Manager at Hotel Indigo-Atlanta Downtown

Ms. LoRusso brings more than 15 years of experience to her new position with Hotel Equities. Her work in the industry includes positions in Las Vegas at the Luxor Hotel, in Mississippi at the Silver Star Hotel and Casino, and in Atlanta working for Crowne Plaza Hotels where she earned the Front Office Manager of the Year award. In Atlanta, she spent the past nine years working for InterContinental Hotels Group where she held several positions, the most recent being Brand Manager for Crowne Plaza Hotels & Resorts - Americas Region. Active in her community, Ms. LoRusso volunteers at her church and serves as team manager for a West Georgia Futbol Club youth soccer team. In her free time, she enjoys reading, spending time with family and friends and volunteering. She lives with her husband and two children in Douglasville. Jeannie Green has been appointed as General Manager at the Richmond Hill City Center

Ms. Green brings solid hands-on experience to the position, having served as Regional Sales Manager and Director of Catering for the Mansion on Forsyth Park and Bohemian Hotel Savannah Riverfront. Her responsibilities included both corporate and associate markets in the Southeast region as well as food and beverage/catering experience for a variety of corporate and social events and functions. Ms. Green commented that her experience is “strong and relevant to what we want to accomplish at Richmond Hill City Center. This tremendous new facility has so much to offer for a great variety of events from important team meetings to high-level board meetings, and from intimate luncheons to elaborate weddings, larger community functions and special events. In her new capacity as General Manager, Ms. Green swiftly announced the appointment of Ms. Jenny Sharp – also of Richmond Hill -- to the position of Executive Assistant Manager at Richmond Hill City Center. Ms. Sharp will support the operations and service delivery utilizing her vast Food & Beverage experience, most recently working with catering companies servicing Richmond Hill and the Savannah marketplace. “Jenny gives highest priority to service excellence and quality culinary experiences just as I do”, shared Ms. Green, “and together we are building a strong team reflective of this great venue.”

Leigh Ann Waters has been appointed as Director of Sales at Westin Atlanta Perimeter North

Prior to joining the hotel, Leigh Ann led successful teams with such brands as Wyndham, Sheraton, Benchmark Hospitality, Radisson, Doubletree and IACC Conference Centers. Additionally, her experience within the industry includes on property sales management, multiple hotel marketing direction and pre-opening sales development. Leigh Ann is an active member of several hospitality and civic organizations. She served as a recent president of Meeting Professionals International Georgia Chapter, achieving Global Chapter of the Year during her term and is a recipient of their Lifetime Achievement Award. The Westin Atlanta Perimeter North, located in the heart of Atlanta’s business district, is minutes away from the city’s best shopping venues.

Matt Crall has been named General Manager at the Courtyard by Marriott-Buford

Hotel Equities (HE) recently named Matt Crall the General Manager for the Courtyard by Marriott-Buford. Currently in the pre-opening phase of the hotel’s development, Mr. Crall has responsibility for overseeing all financial and management operations including hiring the employees and setting and meeting budget goals. Hotel Equities also developed the property. With more than 13 years of experience in the hospitality industry, Mr. Crall twice earned Marriott’s national General Manager of the Year honor for the SpringHill Suites brand. Hotel Equities named him the company’s GM of the Year five times. Hotel Equities (HE) is an Atlanta-based full-scale hotel management, development and consulting firm. Frederick W. Peter Willis has been appointed as Senior VP of Hotel Acquisitions & Business Development at Fisher Property Group

In his new role, he will be responsible for sourcing, negotiating and structuring transactions for hotel assets and management contracts. Immediately prior to joining Fisher Property Group, Willis was senior vice president at The Kor Group, where he played a lead role in sourcing, negotiating and underwriting hotel investments and management contract prospects in addition to supporting strategic acquisitions and corporate planning efforts. Willis rejoins the executive team of the REIT, formerly known as Innkeepers USA Trust, including CEO Jeffrey Fisher and Senior Vice President of Hotel Development Richard Mielbye, who will continue to lead the effort on all ground-up developments, as well as other senior executive team members. During his tenure at Innkeepers from 2002 to 2006, Willis was vice president of acquisitions, where he oversaw $500 million in investments involving more than 18 hotels.
