Hyatt Regency Lake Washington, a 347-room property on the shores of Lake Washington just south of Seattle, today announced the appointment of Brandon Near as senior chef de cuisine. In his new role, Chef Near will oversee the daily culinary operations at Water's Table, Sip Lounge, Dock & Drink and the Market and create future menus in partnership with the pastry sous chef, Amy Tung, for any dessert items. Chef Near will continue to elevate upon the Water's Table's legacy as a premium lakefront restaurant in Seattle.

Salifu has worked with Hyatt for over 15 years, on both the East and West Coast. Aparium and Urban Villages to introduce 120-key Hotel Westland in Seattle, WA

Located in Pioneer Square, Hotel Westland will be the hotel group's first hotel in Seattle. A partnership with Urban Villages, the adaptive reuse of the historic Westland Building is expected to open in late 2023 with 120 guestrooms and suites, signature indoor and outdoor restaurant on activated "Railspur" alley, as well as a rooftop bar. Curioso, a hospitality interior design firm located in Chicago, is set to oversee the design.
