Daniel Ben-David has been named as the new executive chef at the 801-room Hilton Austin. With over 15 years of culinary experience, Chef Ben-David joins Hilton Austin from the legendary Hotel del Coronado, part of Curio Collection by Hilton. In his new role, he will lead all of Hilton Austin's culinary and banquet operations, spearhead innovative menu creation and oversee the hotel's two dining venues - Cannon + Belle, with farm-to-table cuisine and Austin Taco Project, offering unexpected tacos and taps.

Radisson Signs With Experience Management For The Robertson, A Member Of Radisson Individuals

Radisson Hotel Group Americas today announced the signing of The Robertson, a member of Radisson Individuals. The hotel holds incredible history for the city and with its anticipated opening in the fall of 2021, it will be the first hotel to open its doors in downtown Joplin in more than 50 years. Barry Rodriguez has been appointed as Director of Sales at Virgin Hotels New Orleans

A key addition to the team, Rodriguez is a veteran of the local hospitality industry with 17 years of hotel sales experience with luxury destinations throughout New Orleans. Rodriguez began his hotel sales career as a Corporate Sales Manager preparing for the opening of the Loews New Orleans Hotel in 2003. As a pre-opening team member, he contributed extensively to the property's initial marketing campaign and the bid for the hotel's AAA Four Diamond rating. He l ater joined the Windsor Court New Orleans in 2004, where he rose through the ranks from Sales Manager to Director of Sales and Marketing. In 2010, he took a position as Director of Sales at The Ritz-Carlton, New Orleans. Rodriguez returned to the Loews New Orleans Hotel in 2016 as Director of Sales and Marketing, a role he enjoyed until accepting the offer to join the opening team at Virgin Hotels New Orleans.
